We are down to 20 players ffs.
7 players with under 20 games experience including our whole bench and a debutant.
Good to see eButch get a starting position.
I am sure the boys will put up a huge effort.

    Next man up. GO EASTS.

From the little I've seen of Abbey with Norths, I like it and I'm thinking he will be itching to prove himself...just as long as his eagerness doesn't equate to errors.

Cordner, Friend, Collins, Keary, Jmoz, BMoz, Smith, Suaalii, Radley, Crichton, Ikuvalu, Butcher, Keighran and Copley. That's a full team plus! Are all unavailable.
        Thats why Im worried.
Jack we are gonna get whacked.

I think we have to play out of our skin to stay within 24. Just my opinion

Who do you reckon has most to lose, and will be nervous?

IMO Robbo's the kinda guy who wouldn't include him unless he was ready.

Pretty sure he's played some first grade too? For example when Wighton ran amok and got himself suspended, I think the Faders used him for a while.

Looks a bit like Ikuvalu? Could be handy...

not saying we're going to win the comp this year but we laid the foundations for winning the comp in 2002 in the early rounds when we had so many guys out injured. the no names stepped up and led the way. i'm not hoping, i'm expecting these champs to do the same

At least there is a chance that they will be absolutely complacent.

Dirty old Bennet has decided to play his full strength side against us, gee I hope we give it a good crack!

Don't give a fk about the result in this game, a win for me in this game is 1. no injuries 2. no suspensions 3. under a 30 point loss

With more North Sydney Bears players than Roosters, are we going to have to change the team name and colours for the rest of the season?

Doesn't Abbey play centre for Norths? He will be centre, Graham-Taufa to wing or a late loan player and Lam back to 14 SURELY!!

If we win it should be the greatest upset in NRL history. If we lose by plenty the usual media suspects will carry on about how it was a very un-roosters like performance and a defining victory by the vermin in the lead up to the finals.
