I hope he has something coz we've been really shyte against top-3 teams. While our injuries/suspensions are a nice excuse, I expect better from us.

Happy to blame injuries/refs the first time we get 50 points put on us but after that, there's shyte and then there's shyte. To me having Collins, Cords, Friend, B-Moz, J-Moz, Suaalii, Crichton and a few others is the difference between losing a tight contest and winning it... NOT the difference between getting 50 put on us and putting 50 on them.

Tactically we have enough good players to muscle up to them with forwards (JWH, SST, Liu, Sitili, Butcher and Baker are all class) and ask questions (Teddy, Walker, Manu and Tupou can create stuff outta nowhere).

Putting it out there - I'm not blaming the refs and injuries if we get 50 put on us. It's happened a few times now and our roster's good enough to play a respectable game of footy. I don't wanna see any farking around!

It’s a disgrace that you think it’s acceptable for us to concede. A real disgrace.
So, if it's 20 mins to go and we're down 0-40, you want our players to *kill* themselves and have nothing left for next week?...and most likely get injured?
I don't. Call it "resting players" if you like.
If we haven't scored a point in 60 minutes, we'd be very unlikely to score 41 points in 20 minutes.
We should try to win the game, but if it doesn't happen and the game is gone, it's gone... time to save ourselves for the next week against the Raiders.

Bellyache is resting his whole team over the next 2 matches....win or lose.

Difficult to beat Souths when all they have to do is run all night...and we have to tackle all night.

I would also love DSF to get a run before the end of the year.
He adds a little spice to our forward pack.
As thirteen says, Souffs forwards are quite ordinary.
It explains how the Bunnies have been toweled up by the Panthers and the Storm to the tune of 50 points this season.
I think a lot of you are over-rating souffs.
Sure, they look like world beaters when they have the ball in their hands, and have space.
But it all unravels pretty quickly when the heat's on, and also when they don't have the ball.

I wish DSF was playing, so he could #KaneEvans someone.
However, I also understand that playing with 12 is not a smart idea.

I would never want to see anyone in a Roosters jersey not giving their best no matter what the circumstances.

As a few others have said, I would also like to see DSF play if he can stay focused and keep a cool head.

In the second Panthers game we made quite a few basic errors to be fair. Yes the JWH bin was bullshit but we had enough sets to win the game.

SST still hasn't passed through the concussion protocols and will have to do so today at the captains run or he will be out tomorrow night.

i think the protocols involve a player passing tests every day for a few days so while it's true he hasn't passed them all yet that's a procedural thing as much as anything

I doubt anyone is going to KILL themselves goose, but yes they should be giving 100% effort for the full 80 minutes no matter what the score, that's how sport works. And most of what Bellamy does is a disgrace to the sport, he is no example to use to promote an argument about sportsmanship. the NRL should step in and need independant medical certificates for any player he doesn't use over the next two rounds. This asshole thinks he is above the rules, and now thinks he can manipulate the make up of the to eight. Bellamy has been an absolute blight on the game, He will never be anything but a cheat in my mind, and saying he is the best coach ever is a disgrace to the game.

We were hardly shit though and like you said could’ve won the game and that’s with half the team missing. Same as last year in round 1 we had them covered in the first hour and after our second trip to the UK in a row ran out of steam, I am highly annoyed we haven’t played these pretenders in a n evenly matched game in the last 18 months we’d flog them

Basic errors have been the constant theme with the roosters for over 20 years lol no matter how good or bad they are and no matter the players or the coach it’s still the same thing

I've purchased my ticket to go and see the game tomorrow, and I'm optimistic we can be somewhat competitive, but surely there is absolutely no way we can win this game?
We're down actually a full team of players. It's unheard of. You simply cannot beat good opposition with that amount of outs.

To add onto that, I guarantee we'll lose the penalty count tomorrow too, probably quite noticeably.

Real shame we don't have Angus and Rads for this one, as I could see us having a shot with the two of them playing.

I think to be a chance we'll have to complete at a higher percentage than usual, have Jared have one of his massive performances, have the 50-50's go our way and have Manu and Teddy play blinders. Probably need Walker to be a little off, too. That all seems like asking a lot.

Still, go the Chooks. I can't be disappointed with any result. The club has made me immensely proud this year already.
