As I wrote in the other thread, some good choice and use of words RoosterBoi, well done pal. It is nice to see some perspective and sensible conversation from time to time.

I hate any loss, but we have an opportunity to move on and go some way to partially erasing this next week. We will.

Our club, its professionalism and processes are second to none. That doesn't change overnight. We will recover, but I think this season could be done and dusted unfortunately. We may limp into the finals, but I wouldn't expect much. We have to be sensible and realistic. We have done quite well all things considered and we should be satisfied with that.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

I respect your opinion, but I believe that anything possible, there's still plenty of games left and finals can produce anything. This lot can perform in the best moments so long as injuries and suspension is close to none for the rest of the season they should be fine. At least the season provides the younger players the critical experience to develop.

I dont dig holes big fella but I have been on a funeral where another team member fell into the grave as we were lowering after the side gave way. Been on another funeral where even though the grave sight was dug out right there were roots protruding out about 20 mil about a half a meter down & it was a tight fit like your XXXL Chooks jumper is on you & as we lowered the coffin the roots caught the lip of the lid & the lid popped off hitting the grave diggers hand who was helping out lowering the coffin causing him to drop his rope causing the coffin to nose dive & there was poor old Mrs Jones without her dentures in half coming out of the coffin.
              Happy days.
