> Personally I believe everyone is very reactionary currently which includes myself however, we can only go off on what we see on a week to week basis which has lead to some throwing in the towel or bringing out knifes to attack players as to use as scapegoats. I echo my sentiments on my last post in the match day thread heavily, cause realistically this season has caused a lot of fear which has stemmed from that loss to Souffs last yr.
Agreed, although I think a lot of it comes down to passion. It's a rough season and we love our team so of course we get fired up.
IMO if Melbourne lost 50-0 you'd hear crickets because nobody cares. I think passionate rants are overall a positive as they demonstrate that fans give a shyte and are impacted by the way the game goes. We all watched that Drizz game (and the Riff game) somewhat foolishly expecting a competitive match-up. We'll be back again next week with the same amount of passion and I think only good things can come of that.
> In relation to those scapegoating players, they might not be up to your standards but you have to simply understand that the Roosters won't have quality back ups in every position and have to be realistic with how injuries have treating the roosters since 2020. I repeat that we only can realistically make a proper evaluation once the last game of the season is over.
Yep... I dunno why people are attacking Lam and Ikuvalu in particular. When you have a shyte game, everybody looks shyte. I mean Teddy looked cr@p!!! He kept running backwards and throwing ridiculous passes that got us nowhere. And yet, he was MoTM for Origin just a few days ago. If you judged everybody by how they look when their team's down 46-0 then there wouldn't be many 'good' NRL players out there.
