Precisely what I was thinking. So long as they compete hard and not let their emotions get the better of them.

And JWH and co need to unsettle Jerome Luai by niggling him all game. He's got a short fuse and reacts.

Both Gus & Sitili need to get off the line and give Cleary & Luai nightmares.

Saw that too. Shoulder's been a concern, now the other one is injured. Hopefully Ashley Klein isn't a late inclusion in the Panthers line-up!

I am very suspicious about the tackle that Walker got injured. From what I saw was that Fogarty went from the top and wrap his arms so tightly that Walker couldn’t protect himself while Fogarty drove him onto the turf with extra force. It may not have been illegal but in my opinion that was a clear example of a bigger player trying to hurt a smaller player.

Is there any other source than James Hooper at the moment?

I didn't like it at all. What, because his legs weren't flipped over his head it's ok? He had no way to protect himself and pretty sure his head hit the ground.

This Suaalii kid has exceeded my expectations, even with all the hype.
He can make the low tackles around the legs, but can get physical in tackles (saw a few hits on Titans forwards that really impressed me)
The attacking ability is without question.
All this from a 17 year old.
                      Unbelievable.

It was caused by a hospital pass from Egan Butcher he sold Walker the dump with 2 blokes on top of him he should have taken the tackle.
I know those types of tackles are banned in AFL but it's hard to stop in our game that is built around getting the attacker to the ground.

Just saw a vid of final preparations for tomorrow on the clubs instagram page and at the very end it showed Walker wearing a pink bib. Usually a sign for non-contact... make of it what you will

Or that he's a messy eater.

But yeah Channel 7 'confirmed' he's out. Bugger.

                              19-man Update

The Roosters' side to take on the Penrith Panthers at Panthers Stadium on Friday night has been trimmed 24 hours prior to kick-off.

Sam Walker and Sitili Tupouniua have been omitted from the side.

Adam Keighran and Egan Butcher have been promoted to the starting side at five-eighth and second row respectively, while Sam Verrills will start at hooker having previously been named on the interchange bench.

Tuku Hau Tapuha and Ben Thomas come onto the interchange bench via the extended bench, while Billy Smith and Joseph Suaalii have been named as 18th and 19th man respectively.

Tupouniua was ruled out with a foot injury.
