The day anyone takes heed of consequences/actions around fowl play from Isaac Luke....is a dark day indeed.

Isaac was basically saying that Teddy drops on purpose so he can get a penalty by getting hit in the head. He basically takes one for the team.

If you stand close enough to Isaac you can hear the ocean.

Yeup, that's essentially what he's implying.

Also I'm truly sick and tired of seeing Tedesco copping all types of shots to the head week in week out for past year..He is going to end up on the scrap heap soon.
This is absolutely spot on and by the tone of your post it seems you think the actions of the officials were deliberate and therefore intended to disadvantage the Roosters. If so, I totally agree with you and as I stated earlier in this thread (post 20), I don't believe these things were the result of incompetence.

The sound of the ocean whistling out of both of his ears as a result of his empty skull lol.

Isaac Luke is a player that has repeatedly attempted to break the legs of opposition players. Say no more really.

playing off the bench in QLD Cup, the Broncos signed Danny Levi over him and that should say it all.

Thought I'd go back and take a slow motion look at the "try" that cartwright scored, and sure enough mahoney catches the ball from paulo on paulo's inside shoulder before running behind paulo and ultimately throwing the pass to cartwright who crossed the line untouched. So, that's OK now is it?

Another thing I had a very close at was the incident in which niukore was reported for shoulder charging Teddy in the head. In the same tackle, paulo hits Teddy in the neck just before niukore hits Teddy's head (IMHO).

So, far all the talk that there was a lot going on, how does it make sense that the incident which most people missed was caught by the officials, whereas the incident that everyone noticed was "missed" by the officials?

General consensus on 360 we were robbed. Ikin led with system failure to which Kent Paul had a laugh (not at us)

Hefty phone calls made at half time. Audio of teddy asking the ref why it took so long to put brown on report. "We had a lot to look at" was the response.

Systemic corruption to manipulate the top four.

If we could play in some other competition id be all for it, this one we're in is rotten to the core.

The arrogant assholes are looking into robbos use of the word incompetent.

Uncle Nick please do something, we may get all the favours playing two helpless teams over the next fortnight, but watch this shit rear it's ugly head again in our next top four clash. (Penrith?)

I've watched some dodgy shit over the last few years but this has taken the cake. On the back of the Strom game too.

the fox nrl website reporting that robbo is being investigated over his 'incompetent' comments. can't see how there will be a problem - hard for the nrl to argue that the decision was competent given they stood chiddy down for incompetence

Gallen also arguing teddys running style is his own fault. My lord.

"your defense?" "Well he's shorter than me sir, so I whacked him in the head"

Another in the issac luke school of thought it seems. One too many punches to the head gal?

No denying that both high shots on Teddy recently have been illegal however there definitely is an issue with his habit of slipping into tackles.
He is leaving himself open to concussions because of it, he got knocked out in origin last year from slipping.
He fell into the tackle on Anzac Day and again versus the eels.
The last thing we need is for another of our stars to come under scrutiny for repeated head knocks.
Whether it be making a conscious effort on his part to stay more upright or working on ducking his head after releasing the ball it's something that needs further investigation for his own safety and well-being.

I heard Gallen's suggestions, but Freddy was more convincing. There was no need for the Parra player to LAUNCH into Teddy, after he had passed the ball. The game has to put a duty of care on the defender, it will happen and it 100% should happen. Unnecessary roughness has been in the NFL for years. The game is not soft, and physicality will always be a huge part of it, but the brilliant running players cannot be continually put a risk by players with no sense of due care. I want to see great hits, aroung the torso, well timed. That hit on Teddy could have been season ending if it was an inch or two either way.
