Could be anything from 8weeks to rest of the season... depending

If he's only worried about missing the bulldogs trial I'd say it's pretty minor. But it's a shame cos by all reports he was having an exceptional pre season and a bad one really cost him last year.

Depends on the severity. 2 months for a severe laceration. If it is only minor shouldn't be too long.

If severe then Tagive would definately be in the team round 1 you would think. Yeah the 3 days out from game day part makes it sound minor..

geez hope SKD is alright, judging by his follow up twitter comments he is still in hospital, sounds like its reasonably serious

you can put the ruler through SKD for the first couple of months of the season at best case, once you take into account the loss of fitness while he recovers from the injury it could be well into the season before we see him.

was just thinking the other day we had managed to escape the injury curse so far this off season.

our average backline just got a whole lot worse, SKD was one of the few players we had with the ability to create something out of nothing.

Can't be too serious if they've kept it quite till now? Sounds like he's a late pull out, a just in case scenario?

                        Chook.

Chook, he is still tweeting from hospital so it is certainly more than a scratch, the fact he is saying he doesn't know when he will be released is not a great sign.

the question is now who becomes right centre for round 1, Maubs/BJ/Henry

At least the boys are ripping in at training. No point speculating on recovery until we know the severity. Less than 1cm and it won't take anywhere near the couple of months being mentioned.

Dubai, your probably right, but given the season starts in 3 weeks you would have to think he is likely out for at least round 1, the search for a new starting right centre starts tomorrow night against the bulldogs.
