Maybe he has ambition, maybe he might be a great coach and have a great career. Win premierships, coach origin, coach his country. Why didn’t Robbo remain an assistant coach, Bellamy, Bennett?

Sharks aren’t the team to do that with. They’ve been wanting to knife Morris since his first game. Their management are horrid.

Robbo ain’t going to be around forever. He could have bided his time with us till then or at least taken a better coaching gig.

I can’t for the life of me understand why Fitzy would ever leave easts.

he can be our defensive coach earning $200-250k a year for the next 20 years. No pressure, no difficulties, no media scrutiny.

or he can go coach some flog side, be hounded when his foot players lose, and be fired inside of 3 seasons when they scapegoat him for his flog players playing shit at his flog club.

I just don’t see what’s in it for him outside of a larger salary for a short period of time

I thought Morris was making a decent fist of it, can’t ask for too much more from a rookie coach who took over a basket case, has made the finals twice, and they have gone ok this year, I could understand if they were going for Robbo,Bennett Bellamy or another bigger name coach, but an unproven coach who has assisted the best coach and roster in the Nrl?

Doesn’t sound like a massive upgrade for the sharks at the moment.
