Yeah sure he's ahead of butcher in the pecking order but let's be real.. unless he fills out, there's only so long his awkward and rangy running style will make him hard to contain. If he can't evolve his game further, he'll fade out like all the other lanky talents we've unearthed.. Kane Evans as another prime example.

for one Sitilli hasnt played that many minutes to get his averages up 2- he is a weapon -3 will be even better next year
Take not Cordner wasnt exactly dynamite when he started either but had loads of potential and hype ..he lived up to it.
Sitilli also has offloads and can break a tight line ...he should be up there next year. Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

1.RD 20:73 Mins for 6 runs and 49M.
2.RD 19: 80 Mins for 6 runs and 50M
3.RD 18: 80 Mins for 3 RUNS AND 29M!!
4.RD 17: 80 Mins for 4 runs and 27M
do you see it now? Sitili is a burst player - he comes on and plays high energy footy for a limited time because as mentioned above he isn’t cut out for 80 at the highest level so far as seen in the finals

My final memory of SBW in 2020 is that of the last 5 minutes where he made a heroic attempt to shift the ball around using long passes. As a result we finished the game with a roll of the dice, which Flanno was unable to provide as the distributing half.
With Lam taking over (Walker/Keghran one injury away from playing) and Radley/Verrills possibly being unavailable during the first 1/2 of the season I think that it will be very important to have some ball playing forwards on our books. I see SBW almost like being a Cam Smith... he adds maturity, self-confidence, assertiveness and stability to our roster.
IMO we have the size, grunt and ticker in JWH, SST, Collins (ain't he good - an Origin winning prop!!!) and Liu. Also, our backs are second to none! We just need depth, creativity and assertiveness with the ball in hand.Last edited by ism22; 12-23-2020, 12:52 PM.

Speaking from personal experience, I always needed to play 80 minutes to find some momentum. Often if I played for 15-20 in which time I'd get the ball once, drop it (or do a pretty ordinary run) and have little impact (whereas I'd work my way into the game and post some good stats if given the full 80). With any sport, I greatly respect the ability to get on, smash out some good stats in a short period and then get off when you're blowing hard (or not if you're in the zone + easily getting on top of everybody). I reckon it's a skill in itself...

Taka never really overcame his shortcomings as a player though.
Hopefully Sitili can.
