Everything coming out from Teddy about this deal is confidence that he's not even considering another offer he doesn't want to go anywhere else.

Everything coming out from me is just nervous ****ing energy. Can we just get this thing done. Please Uncle Nick, an early Christmas present?
For the life of me I can't see tedesco signing for anyone else. I'd be gobsmacked if he did.

Im just glad the Roosters have the best player in the game. Good chance you win comps if you have the best player in the game & he is fit & firing.

Never in doubt , he would never want to play elsewhere, now for Gus

I was never concerned about Teddy.
Gussy on the other hand. I hope we get an early Christmas present there.

If I was ever good enough to play NRL and the chooks wanted me I would love to play for them.
But being realistic and they offered me $500,000 a season over 4 years and Parramatta-Cronulla-Manly or even Souths offered my $750,000 a season over 4 years I would be gone in a flash.
As much as anyone here would want to play for the roosters in the end you only have a limited time to make decent coin and an extra million isn't something to give up just because you support a club.
Anyone who says they wouldn't is only kidding themselves.

An offer of $2,000,000 and $2,400,000 over 4 years is a different thing and would probably stay by the time you take in tax and players agents fees.

It depends on their marketability and how much of a brain they have. Someone like Teddy will be set up well post footy career I would think. And could take less $$ during his playing career as a result. Some other guys really need to make hay while the sun shines.

Although amazingly guys like Tallis, Thurston and god forbid even Hindmarsh have somehow got post footy media gigs with no ability or attraction in that area.

Totally depends on your aspirations after footy. That short term cash grab could cost you plenty in the long run after footy but I get your point

Bargain price for the best player in the world. How would you like to be paying $1m a year for Ben Hunt.
