Since the announcement of a 5 year 6 million contract extension things have been somewhat quiet, except when told that Tedesco was waiting for SOO to be over before finalising negotiations. Now I hear it could closer to a 3 year 3 million extension, which makes more sense as I hate 5 year contracts. As long as he wears the RWB for the rest of his career I’m a happy man.

We have been so very fortunate to have a wonderful brainstrust guiding the club the last 10 years or more... I’m happy to let those continue to make negotiations and decisions as i’m sure they are privy to much more information than any of us, including those who have connections. Hope he does stay a rooster for the rest of his playing days. He’s a good man as well as being an exceptional player.

we're not paying overs for him - 3m for 3 years is almost a bargain. long term contracts can be a problem but teddy is such a pro i'd feel safe signing him for 5 years if that's what he wants. if it saved our salary bill 2 or 300k over the 5 years then so much the better.
