I didn’t watch the whole game as I was out but saw the highlights
waylander from what I can tell I agree with everything you’ve said but we come up against a better team than Souths this week.

Vasco, if you read my posts throughout the year I’ve had a gut feeling we wouldn’t win. I backed us last year and was confident. So as much as I can be a pessimist when it comes to the chooks I think I’m a realist.

im pretty confident we don’t win this game for many reasons.
    a) Penrith are a great team for many reasons..the right balance between chaos and order. Young players who love to play together and have junior rep experience together. The same thing happened when they won the comp last time. Remember that young bunch of players in 2003. It’s a very similar mix.

    b) I feel like we have overachieved this year.
besides losing Victor and Sam, we have Boyd with head knocks, Friendy my main man looking older, Flanagan has to cope with his old mans teeth and that seems to be screwing up his defence.
Everyone seems to be rapping us up and how good our coach isand how unfair our squad is...blah blah but normally in my experience this leads to complacency unfortunately.......you can’t coach hunger.

canberra almost got us last year, we are missing 4 key players from that squad and other teams are better.

its a huge ask for us to win,
as I said it’s a wonderful challenge for players and coach.
    hope I’m wrong
    barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!

        Agree.

I don't think the rotten Vermin were targeting anyone in particular; we were just outplayed and out enthused for the reasons well documented. As others have said, I expect a very different outcome this week.
            MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Reynolds and Walker are a good combo.
Reynolds short kicking game can break down a near impenetrable defence like the Chooks. Same with Cody Walkers ball play. He can coax defenders out of position by playing footy.

              No way.
These two are useless pieces of sh*t
Where were they in 2018, when we smashed Souffs in the Prelim?
Where were they last year, when we smashed Souffs 30-6 in the Semis?
They both go missing when there is a bit of stinging defensive pressure.
Like they are bound to encounter, at some stage in this year's finals series.
Reynolds and Walker love to play touch football, and they thrive on it - just like what the Roosters dished up , last Friday night.

They can only play against who I sent out against them.
Watch for the Penrith pair to attempt something similar in this Friday’s game of semi final tackle football
                ..it’ll be interesting to see

Agree with this Brain. I still think we can cover and get the 3peat, but halfback is definitely our relative weak area this season.

We had a slow start then finished 4th is a shortened season. Penrith have had an armchair ride to the minor premiership.
Bring on friday night, so the chook's can silence the naysayers.

IMO, Souffs played their GF against us. They peaked, they were on fire, almost everything came off....they would have beaten any team the other night.
I don't believe the vermin can replicate their best performance of the year. Us on the other hand embarrassed themselves. The associated pain and shame will ensure they mentally pick themselves up quick smart and refocus.
