    Moz Aubo Sonny ?

Sio had a Barry , as did Ikavala.......

They certainly targeted the Aubo-Ika side of the field and scored there at will. Neither of these will be there on Friday, but that clapped-out old fella Brett Morris will be there, so God help us.

I don't agree. Nearly every try was targeted at Flanagan and Keary by way of decoy runner on their inside shoulder to create an overlap on the outside. I have previously been critical of Flanagan marking too tightly on his inside and Souths have also worked it out on Keary's side.

The problem compounded on Flanagan's side with Sitili and Maubs either side of him.

It's a strange one as the Chooks already qualified for top 4 so maybe a case of going through the motions and not get injured- Chooks need to bring their A Grade 80 minute game though vs Penrith as i figure they wont be getting stage fright and Chooks will need to beat them as they wont beat themselves

We have by far the best defensive coach in the game. I’ll back him in to sort it out.

How do you think Easts will go mate?

Reynolds and Walker are a good combo.
Reynolds short kicking game can break down a near impenetrable defence like the Chooks. Same with Cody Walkers ball play. He can coax defenders out of position by playing footy.

Aubusson deserves a bench spot but he isn’t a centre anymore. Not that he ever was. He was a part of a weak side with Flanagan and Ikuvalu.

Souths got past our centres in our umbrella defence and made it look easy. What was disappointing was we couldn’t adapt.

Luai has got a bit of footy in him, Cleary is a bit robotic but he has all the skills and can defend.
                ..it’ll be interesting to see

Trew, it's really hard to know just what went wrong last week, but I think that ultimately it was a result of an unusual combination of factors that all stack up against us.
                  • Souths had everything to play for, we had very little.
                  • We were given time off, and didn't prepare well for the game, mentally or physically.
                  • We rested both Manu & BMoz together, causing our right edge defense to become disjointed.
                  • We lost Friend after 3 minutes, which probably caused our edge defense to focus inwards to try and help out our middle. This gave Souths extra room out wide.
                  • Everything Souths did just worked ... they got the bounce of the ball as well the blow of the whistle in their favour. We were pretty much the opposite.
                  • With our mindset off, once they had the momentum and all the ball, we couldn't find a way back into the game.
Time will tell how we bounce back from that, but I've read media reports that the players are angry, especially Keary who knows he was targeted and below par, and they are looking to put that performance to bed once and for all this week. Let's hope so.

                  GO EASTS !!

Thought he was tentative which is to be expected considering his head knocks. I'm sure he was glad to get through the 80 mins.

Did not run with his usual gusto. Too busy concentrating on this weeks game as were they all.

Don’t give them too much credit! A Mack truck could have driven through the left, centre or right side and it wouldn’t have collected any roosters player. We had no defence because we didn’t want to be there, and I’m ok with that cause in the end it has given us a better outcome. I’m expecting a different outcome this week.

I gave Flanno every chance too early in his career to be a world beater..and I think he may never get there either..he wouldnt of made my team this week .
The only replacement I could handle would be Cronk getting on as the trainer for the game.

Brain you were saying earlier this year that the kid has the goods and many of you on here were getting stuck into me for being critical of him. Different story now.
