The thing is Vasco, it's not just the quantity of 6 agains, it's when on the tackle count. We are constantly getting 6 agains against us on the 3rd and 4th tackles. I saw (I think) the first 6 again call on the 5th tackle all season and it was against us of course. The Souffs game didn't matter because we were routed, but in close game v Raiders we were constantly '6 againsted' late in the tackle counts.
I admit I'm totally biased, but I haven't seen many other teams get '6 againsted' on the 4th tackle as much as we have. Under Sutton/Cummins it's constant throughout the game, not just the first half.
I was really in favour of this rule at the start of the season, but after seeing how it can be abused by refs (against us especially), I hope it gets scrapped next year.
Rant over.
GO EASTS!

Why we have no chance against Panthers, Storm, Eels, Souths, Raiders etc.
BTW, I agree with your assessment of him - we've never been able to contain him; but I don't think any other team have either.

In 2019 we lost to Souffs in the first round and the last round and in the first final game we smashed them. This year we lost to Penrith in the first round and souffs in the last round and now in the first finals game, we meet Penrith... you do the maths!

Does anyone have any stats on how the refs punish us with the 6 to go? Legit question, my mate who is a riff supporter isn’t copping that we’ve had a harsh run with penalties the last few weeks and thinks it’s mainly due to our ill discipline.Last edited by ChookMaster; 09-28-2020, 07:49 PM.

That's why I'm worried about sitili there he hits hard but he doesn't number up well and some of his second efforts are non existent.

The Roosters have the ability to play the perfect game in the first half of semis and grand finals. Near 100% completion rate, turning opportunities into tries, kicking all goals and no missed tackles. That’s what we need and are capable of on Friday night. At our best player for player we are better. Some early big hits by JWH will asset our authority.

the refs will be doing their best to help the new kids on the block and suck off the home crowd.
