      2. penrith will receive their first penalty between the fifth and ninth minute for the Roosters being inside the 10.
      3. Matt Cecchin will NOT be appointed the referee for the Roosters/penrith game.
Please note, I hope my predictions are wrong.
TBH, unlike some on here, I actually don't mind most of the refs. Sure we've always lost the penalty count invariably in the last 2 decades, but we train and play to take them out of the equation.

IMHO, Cummins and Sutton are trying to overcompensate for last year's GF and giving ridiculous amounts of 6 against against us especially late in the tackle counts (3rd and 4th).

The delicious irony of Cummins hatred of Easts actually bit him in the a*se in the GF last year. In his haste to call 6 again when it was clearly off the Raiders player and not Teddy, he was over ridden correctly by another ref, but because he had a split second to make a decision, he made a complete goose of himself. The irony was so funny. His hatred of us lead to him trying to make a decision against us which backfired and lead to us scoring the winning try and him making an egg of himself in the process. There is a God in Rugby League.

Who was the ref that overruled him, I need to buy him let's say, a 1000 beers and a prize pig from the fair.

I think a lot of members on this Forum are finally realizing that the bias from the referees can derail our season.
In 2013, 2018 and 2019 , we had such a superior team to any of our opposition that referee bias didn't matter.
But this season the top teams are even as far as talent goes.
And this season, for the first time, referees Cummins and Sutton have additional artillery in their kitbag - its called the "6 again"
They have the power to decide the winner and loser of a football game.
I said in another post that if we lose to the Riff, and the 6 again calls are even, I'll be upset.
But if we lose the calls 10-1 or 6-1 , lose the penalties, and the 50/50 calls, and we lose a tight game, I'll be really farken p#ssed off.
So get ready fellow Rooster supporters- on Friday night, there is a real possibility that this scenario gets played out.
And guess what- the best side may not actually win.

I have no i9dea what to expect now after the Souffs game....... Just hope the real Easts turn up and do their thing..Penriff right now a highly confident juggernaught..weather you admit it or not ...we have to strangle them in this game and out kick them big time...The Bondi Wall and the Keary boot .Young Keary will have to put in his most dominant performance not that frustrated effort last week .Im calling a draw and extra time winner

Here is my word of prophecy for the upcoming Easts v Penrith semi:

It will be a 2-4 point margin, but the winner? I’m not certain.

But I will state the following with absolute certainty:
                1. The 6 agains will go to Penrith 9 – 2.
                2. Penalties will go to Penrith 5-3.
                3. Of the 9 six agains that Penrith receive, 4 of those will be on the 4th tackle. Another 3 will be on the 3rd tackle. There will also be 1 on the 5th tackle.
                4. Of the 2 six agains that Easts receive, 1 will be late in the first half when there’s only 30 seconds to go.
                5. The other one will be on our first tackle.

                You’ve heard it here first.

Happy to have egg on my face, but I look forward to re-visiting this post of mine after the game.

Oh, in case you’re wondering where I got this from, this has been the case for the last 4 games. But there were quite a few others like this earlier in the season as well.
You won't be far off the mark.

I believe the six against count for the past 2 games is 12-3.

usually finals are low penalty counts but with 6 again this changes things as it has done so since introduced. Can't afford too many and think the defence will hold on- no good time to give away a 6 again (down the other end i suppose) and certainly not late in the count as your asking for trouble then.

3 weeks ago against Canberra it was 8-3 against us when it was Sutton as ref (?).

The thing is Vasco, it's not just the quantity of 6 agains, it's when on the tackle count. We are constantly getting 6 agains against us on the 3rd and 4th tackles. I saw (I think) the first 6 again call on the 5th tackle all season and it was against us of course. The Souffs game didn't matter because we were routed, but in close game v Raiders we were constantly '6 againsted' late in the tackle counts.

I admit I'm totally biased, but I haven't seen many other teams get '6 againsted' on the 4th tackle as much as we have. Under Sutton/Cummins it's constant throughout the game, not just the first half.

I was really in favour of this rule at the start of the season, but after seeing how it can be abused by refs (against us especially ), I hope it gets scrapped next year.

                      Rant over.

                      GO EASTS!

                        Fair dinkum.

                        What a joke.

But there will be simpletons who think we just whinge about refs.

                            Sorry, one more rant...

Sutton gave us our first 6 again with 30 seconds to go in the first half in the game v Canberra 3 weeks ago.

He did similar against Souffs on Friday. As I said, it didn't matter v Souffs, but in tight game like Canberra, it will have an effect.

Penalty count is 11-4 last two games. Two penalties a game.

Yep, the Roosters get all the favours.
