We will regroup and the fire in the belly will reappear this week, watch out Storm or Penrith.

Great sides don’t generally lose 2 games in a row, throw in a smashing to our arch rivals and a semi final coming up and I’m confident we will take care of business!
I always pity a team facing a team who has had a shocking loss the week prior.

445 tackles vs 245 tackles. Perspective please. It won't happen again.

Agreed mate, hence why I’m surprised at so called experts like Gould basically putting a line through us to win the comp on that performance..

Souffs had a shocking loss last week to the team coming last and look how they bounced back last night against the Premiers..

We will be ready this week!

this comp was always going to be hard to win. didn't get harder cos of a loss in a meaningless game.

no pride in the jersey? take a look at last few years.

fans might think a loss to souths counts for more and that's fine but i'm glad they didn't bust a gut to get back into it. there are times to put your body on the line and last night wasn't one of those times.
              Indeed.

Trent cannot, and cannot be expected to, deliver a premiership every season.

This season our team is arguably not as good as last year.
                No Cronk, Latrell, and Tetevano.
                Other teams have strengthened.
The rules were changed after the season started and we'd retained a team for the old rules.
One referee, set restarts whenever and wherever he feels like it.
More often that not one team gets most of the set restarts and penalties and the other team gets very few.
Big teams are needed to combat the rolling possession ...in defence.

I'm not conceding anything just yet , the boys have shown championship qualities over the last couple of years and you can't turn it up on them on the back of one horrible outing.
Last night stung and plenty are sinking the slipper into us but I think we can bounce back.
Robbo will be working on getting our aggression back in defence which has been the cornerstone to our success.
We have to be on our toes as far as discipline goes as Cummins and Sutton have caned us the last two weeks and will be getting the big end of year games.

This place is buzzing with negativity.
last week it was all , how lucky we are to be roosters supporters

Yes, and teams that play us seem to be angels in their eyes, can do no wrong...but do plenty wrong in fact.
                      One referee...LOL
                      Set restarts...LOL
                      The new NRL...LOL.

I don’t think he can set out the barrage of 6 agains coming our way in the next two games Our players will be ****ed with all the tackling they have done in the last two weeks due to a 17-4 six again count against us in the last two games It’s brutal and there is no respite as the game rolls on and on Long term this rule will shorten players careers they are going to burn out

[QUOTE dice; Flanagan/Maubs/Ikuvalu tackling the air get counted in the line breaks stat.

Not the first time that makeshift right side has been found out. The old coach was right onto it. It wasn't so much a lack of effort as it was meeting a Cody Walker on fire on both sides of the ruck and the 'Riff have his clone in Luai. Cameron M at the Storm.
Not fair to single out individuals in a collective disaster such as that one but last time the replacement right edge floundered badly Flanno got the chop and I wouldn't be surprised to see Lam elevated to 7 again. Flanno's good when the going is good. Having said that, the forwards got owned. Having said that, the rivals had a lotta ball.

Flanagan worries me defensively as well and I think sitili is a better impact player rather than a starter. We have to work something out quickly on that edge because the left side is nearly every team's better attacking side and they will be coming at us.
