i don't see this as a bad thing. if jake's alright then no harm done in my book.
we're a well run team and a loss in a meaningless game doesn't cancel what has been a good season for us despite a lot of injuries.
a loss v souths might be bad for fans but it didn't hurt us last year.

I told my Roosters mates tonight that I thought we might get beat, but I didn;t expect it to be like this. Very tough to take, Robbo has a big job ahead of him. After lsitening to the presser it sounds like he gave the team some time off, but we still shouldn't let a team put 60 on us.

Everybody talking up this result are in fool's paradise. I can see a big loss next week to Penrith.

Robbo sounded like he expected an average performance. Obviously not that bad. He gave them 3 days off this week plus 4 rested which goes to show how much the game meant. We average 14 points against us all year. Tonight we missed 34 tackles. Do you think we have gone from the best defensive and attacking team to become a shit team overnight? Beaten by a team who lost to the Dogs last week.

You jumped off us in 2018 when we lost two in a row a couple weeks out and again last year when we lost to Souths in the last round. Then you are the first back on the bandwagon with your Ima Diehard Rooster t-shirt and pushing your way to the front.

FFS Coggy go grab yourself a scotch and come back next week.

In 2010 we got thumped by the bulldogs 60-14 and yet made it all the way to the GF. No one could have imagined us getting there. Robbo was assistant coach, I believe

We have a much, much, much better side this year. Maybe we can go one step further than 2010.

And yet you love to rip into any Roosters fan who tips against the Roosters.

                What a hypocrite.

Look we lost Friendy after 3 minutes. The right hand side had Ikuvalu and Aubo. Swap them out with BMoz and Manu.we can't underestimate missing Liu too.

The pride in our effort is what was missing. Better this week than next. It was awful. They need to address the effort. Footballers don't lose talent, they lose desire. That was so sh$%... but in the current game momentum means more than it used to.

That was in round 3! Chalk and cheese! There’s a reason no team has ever conceded 50 and won the comp. We are cooked. If it was a loss by 30 you could forgive it but 60 is far too much to overcome. The scars will remain into next year when we are out in straight sets.

I hate to say it but I think we’ve been too arrogant and this is the result.

There's no coming back from this result, our swagger has become a desperate crawl. Premiership teams do not get 60 point floggings. I can see Penrith putting us to the sword next week.
