Without sounding anti-Roosters... part of Pearce's problem is he's been amongst pretty $hit, boring/troubled/old players for most of his career.

2011 Carney I know, but the 2 tries I noticed him setup for Carney in that vid were Pearce finding an awesome pass, Carney taking it... waddling, scoring then not giving a $hit. The Anasta one... Braith does nothing and acts like a show pony.

Yeah Pearce is decent. Him and Mortimer for 2012... most under-rated, over-criticized players IMO. If we had guys like Yow Yeh, Dugan, Slater...etc running onto Pearce's boot then I think people would start to notice it a bit more. When it's Blowj0b, Perrett, Mini, JCarney or some guy from the Jets when they're injured, WTF can you do? They all have a habit of losing 50/50 situations, being too slow to pick the move/get there and lack size/enthusiasm!!! (Carney included, he's wider than he is tall FFS!!)

Origin has proven that we picked well in Pearce over Coward IMO. Much more rounded player who is a better individual. Bannett's teams have this habit of giving all the players halos because they win 90% of their games and have quality plans/prep.

Not bagging the Chooks, but yeah... our recruitment puzzles me sometimes. Still waiting for wingers and fullbacks to be signed.
