Originally posted by roostermcgregor View PostHey Paddo Colt, I'm not sure what you are doing here on this forum.
Firstly, you are obviously a Souffs supporter, and this forum is the Chookpen (for Easts supporters)
Secondly, all your posts make it obvious that you support Fitzsimons and you have the same left wing, socialist bent as him, you went to university, and you think you are superior to everyone else with your pseudo-intellectual comments and vocabulary.
I went to University too, and I was lectured by lots of left- wing tools, tutors and lecturers. Luckily, I wasn't brainwashed by them, like you are.
Thirdly, the demographic of the Eastern Suburbs indicates that is the wealth belt, and its inhabitants are generally well off , and in politics, support the right - the opposite to you.
I make no secret that I support the right, I am a Capitalist, an Easts Supporter, I live in Roosters heartland, and proud of what I believe in, what I have done in life, and what I stand for - almost all are opposite to you.
This is a football forum, not a political one, so it should be kept in that context. If you don't support the Roosters, or don't have something constructive to say about our team, get lost , because you are only here to incite trouble.
And lastly, if you want to go toe- to- toe on politics , bring it on. I won't back down, and there are numerous examples of how the socialist agenda and ideologies have failed, and f*cked up this country, big time.
Couldn't have put it better myself man o' the clan.
You will find rabid activists on most forums intent on spreading the gospel. This chap is the Roosters resident infiltraitor it would seem. By day wearing Extinction Rebellion or BLM tshirts, then scouring social media for the next hit.
I don't think anyone really takes much notice of the Bandanna fella do they? He's even lost his hat.

With respect Rooster Mac, this thread is not about football, it's an ad hominem pile on which needed some moderation. PFS has been targeted by News Corp for a long while now precisely because he introduces political discussion into sports opinion and thereby reaches an audience that might not, normally, think politically and that spells danger to media corporation that operates on group think.
Sad, too, that a university experience with those "left wing tools" didn't include a realisation that argument needs to be objective and supported. Your response is that of the typical, irritated right winger - a kind of demented telling off - which doesn't flatter your cred at all. From what you say you emerged from the academy with a mind as closed as it was the day that you entered.
I found surprising the assertion that The Roosters are the preserve of the well to do. There's more than a few here who would disagree with that, after all the Eastern Suburbs electorate of Coogee which takes in Bondi is held by the ALP (a woman with a PhD). The wealth belt people to whom you refer wouldn't have a bar of Rugby League, if they have a game it's Union which is played at the schools they favour (and the Libs favour to the detriment of the schools that our kids go to and which play League).
Finally, it's a comfort to know that having avoided the left wing contagion of university, you're now happy with all of the advantages that life has given you including the inheritance. Just about the only thing that seems to disturb that idyl is someone expressing a contrary view to yours. I await the list of progressive fcuk ups that you have at hand but you will need to cite evidence. As you might remember from university, the freely asserted emotional rant gets no points at all except at Newscorp.

Didn't go to uni , started my own business and ended up employing the ones that found there uni degrees didn't actually get them a job.8 years less education but years ahead financially and miles ahead with common sense and care for my fellow man , something which sadly I suspect you have neither off . The only thing you seem to care about is your opinion

Puhleez guys, try to sick to matters outstanding. What, for example, has your last post got to do with anything 1908 except self congratulation and a pitiful swipe at those who had the hide to educate themselves? Despite its total irrelevance Player seems bowled over by it. What I'm seeing here is entrenched opinion that reacts with a "Jeez, what's all this other stuff about Uyghers and stuff that's hasn't been mentioned in the Tele? Whom do I believe? A lot of truckin' fubble to look further into this and I and I already made up my mind about it anyway. It's these bastards like the Bandanna and their smart arse facts. So upsetting, I'll just abuse them personally, make myself feel better".

I do like to talk politics and I used to be a labor voter but I have seen their agenda become extreme to the left that I could not put up with their shit any longer so now I always vote conservative and I am a Trump supporter, but of course I support the Roosters with daylight second...but as for talking politics, I say yes but it's probably best to take this to the no sport folder and leave the Roosters talk alone.

You cannot have a say because they will keep yelling rubbish...But for those that want a progressive government, they actually have no idea. Countries like Venezuela and Cuba called themselves progressive. Their citizens cannot leave those countries fast enough if they could. Sure in principle being progressive is a nice thought, but in reality it has never worked and never will because at the end of the day, those that are at the top are the ones that benefit, as usual, while the rest of the plebs just have to put up with it or go to get some 'retraining', if they make it that far.

Yep ROC your staying away from political comment is a wise decision. I'm sure that I've read just about all of the stuff you mention in the Tele served up by Year 10 leavers who probably believe it themselves. And, oh yeah for sure that Labor agenda has become positively revolutionary over recent years - no tax cuts to the rich and that fcukin' Medicare and NDIS and those execrable suggestions that we've had enough of Neo Con privatisation of things like aged care. The ALP also wants a serious crackdown on business wage rip offs - go figure. Please let the rest of us know, in detail if possible, what is was that made you abandon the voting habit of a lifetime. I, for one, may have been led by the proverbial all this time. I didn't see any policy merit in rich "pensioners" receiving refunds for taxes that they hadn't paid, that's how misguided I've been.
