      Nrl physio suggests:

Confirmation from the Roosters that Daniel Tupou suffered a syndesmosis injury, seeing a specialist this weekend. Need for specialist review brings concern for moderate-high grade sprain, possible surgery. Recovery guide:
      Grade 1: 1-3 weeks
      Grade 2: 3-6 weeks
      Grade 3: 6-10 weeks

That’s why I always say that the winner of the comp will come down to injuries & luck.
Its a brutal sport & the Roosters are still well & truely in it but if they lose Keary or Friend then the season is over.

We could be missing Toups, Cords, Lindsay and Jared next week, so who comes in? Hall for Toups, Faarma for Jared, Aubo for Cords, Baker for Lindsay, Lam to the bench, Then we STILL NEED another TWO bench players. If these 4 are out we will be missing SEVEN of our normal first grade side to face the Cowgirls.....tough ask, especially in Townsville.

Fifita is ahead of Bailey in the pecking order - not sure if Bailey has even been training with first grade, I think he just started training with the bears for Presidents Cup

also may be a good opportunity to give Freddy Lussick his debut off the bench but I wouldn’t have both Lam and him

              I'd rather Ikuvalu than Hall

They might both get a run, one of the Morris boys is no certainty for next week with a back injury. He has carried it for years and got hurt when scoring last night. Even if both Morris boys play both Iku and Hall might play, one on the bench

Jesus Christ what a difference a week makes.

We've never had a good run with injuries under Robbo.

The next month will be very tough.

Good to see Toups didn't cop a hammering from the fans for last night. He has not dropped a ball from a kick in a very long time. Hope he comes good in a couple of weeks.

Cordner will have a spell next game for sure. I reckon he'll sit out a few games over the next month or so (Warriors, Titans and Steelers during this period).

I reckon Lam will figure in the 17 at some point soon as Keary may need the odd early shower. He'd be feeling the strain a little at the moment.

Do you know the likely make-up for the Bears President's Cup team mate? i.e. will our top 30 Easts guys be included.

I don’t know, I think we’ve been pretty lucky for most pays the last 2 years (although we were lucky we had Verrils come on as well as he did)
On GF day 18 and 19, I don’t think we had one player unavailable??

                            Keary feeling the strain? Really?
He’s a footballer he plays one game of football a week. That’s his job. He’s played 5 games. Why is he feeling the strain. He would never tell you he is feeling the strain. If he was then he should go and play soccer.
