I underrated Boyd for a while. I knew he was a good player but just considered him a rep quality edge forward like Craig Fitzgibbon.

This also reminds me of Joey Johns. I was such a Fittler fan that it took me a long time to recognise how influential Johns was on a game. Likely that masterclass return Origin game.

Cordner is the same. He opens up defences so that the following plays are the strike ones. And by that he is a good captain. Maybe it’s the coach enacting a Schwerpunkt move
    ..it’ll be interesting to see

Won two premierships and two origin series and captained his country , he's been a great leader for us the state and the country.

Geez! Whatever happened to O’Sullivan Jnr? Went to the broncos and disappeared. Moral of the story is, Unless you’re a legend like Maloney or RTS, beware of leaving the Roosters for success...I hope Latrine knows that too.

Sully Jr suffered an ACL injury last year. Expected to return in the next few months.

                God.
yeh it was Penrith game at Penrith park - Sticky should not have put Fittler back on- 26-0 at half time (38-24 FT) - gave the riff extra confidence for later on - they beat the chooks earlier in the year after the chooks had a sizeable lead - 23-22

Paul Kent was telling a story during the week about one interview he had with Freddy

Kent asked "for a team what comes first? Confidence or form?
Freddy thought about it for a minute than responded "Hard work"

I love cords, but he is co captain, and the team was already successful. ffs cronk was half , Freddy came to the chooks in 96, hadn't made the finals since 87, chooks never missed finals under fred. only blemish for fred is that we should have won in either 03 or 04, sure the chooks had imprived in 95 under Gus, but Freddie tipped an over into heavyweight. another thing not often mentioned 're the 90s years the Gary Freeman years weren't terrible, he'll of a player whiz.

He may not be our best, but is probably in the top half dozen or so.
                      MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
