The Eastern Suburbs teams had 31 wins before they lost.......At the moment brisbane only have 23. Should they equal that mark, then their record will be of substance.

The record is not for most consecutive wins - its most consecutive games undefeated. Like them or hate them, the Roar have acheved this. I love the Roosters and my league, I also love Soccer. i acknowledge that teh roar have broken the record as it stood. Whoever cant accept it needs to grow up.

And records are meant to be broken. It will be again one day. Maybe by Easts.

We know it wont be Souffs.

            Congrats to the Roar.
I know of at least one junior side that has smashed that record.
From U6s through U13s, not one loss and probably no draws.

It is almost impossible to lose in soccer.

Almost every game is a draw.

Those soccer clowns haven't achieved 10% of what our boys did.

Sorry to the hair gel loving, flare lighting brigade, but it gets no respect from this Rooster.

The record for most undefeated matches in a professional football code? I doubt it..

Is it because Rupert Murdoch isn't Jewish?

Sydney FC knocked off the Roar today ending their undefeated run. Unfortunately a week too late.

I put that down to the 'let down' affect.. After breaking the record I think players would have struggled a little for motivation today.

Since beating the record, they have now lost 4 on the trot...
