Irans nuclear weapons are immense and they are aimed right at Israel. What was the outcome? Hezbollah in Lebanon reaffirms that it's ready to join Iran in any strike on US interests.

Reasons for all the unrest in that part the world? Decades of the US meddling in the Middle East....and Iraq invasion was the turning point. Any country who felt threatened by the US was never going to standby and be a sitting duck for the US like Iraq was. Lucky for those countries Russia and China are very willing to supply them nuclear materials and intelligence- they too don't want the US getting stronger by waltzing in and out of countries like its their right.

Economically what does the US mean for Australia? Check for yourself the importance of Asia for Australian exporters compared to the US.

Australia is best served by taking a NZ approach to world affairs. Lets look after ourselves and let the USA do whatever they want and stop tagging along like a useless lap dog.

It was actually Victoria Jack. Up in my home state of Queensland, in particular my home town of Warwick, they were too busy shooting one another over the weekend and getting into fights in the local shopping centre. It's not the virus up there that is killing people, it's people. I am so glad my parents are not alive to see this up there. They went through enough in WWII and so did many many others. The NSW police have come out and said that family members teaching others to drive is a valid reason to leave home. What if this young girl was required to drive another family member in an emergency? Surely it makes sense to teach her to drive when there is not much traffic around anyway. I was always a nervous driver even in country Queensland and have not driven a car since 1989 but for some families having more than one driver in the family may just assist in an emergency.

The last war that wasn't started by the U.S. because of Domino Theory was World War II. And the Pacific theatre was at least partly due to the U.S. blocking Japan's trading routes in the South Pacific.

Im not cheering for America's demise i'm just giving you the facts.....and that is the USA don't mess around with countries that have nuclear warheads. Do you think North Korea or Iran would have stood up to the US in the pre nuclear weapon days?

Yes John Howard took us into Afghanistan & Iraq.....what a massive waste of human life that to this day still is. The US military went into Afghanistan to dismantle al-Qaeda and deny it a safe base of operations by removing the Taliban from power. As of today the Taliban still control most of Afghanistan and forces loyal to al-Qaeda and its affiliates now number in the tens of thousands . Men in caves 1- USA 0

As for Iraq and the search for weapons of mass production....we all know of the farce that was and the damage it caused and is still causing today.
