My thoughts:
- We've made a net loss. Latrell and Cronk are way better than Flanno and Smith. However, we retained our enforcers + spine.
- Melbourne and Canberra are about the same without really losing anybody. I have questions about whether Canberra are the real deal. Melbourne won the minor premiership by too much to ignore last year though (frankly, with a depleted, developing roster too).
- Souffs - even if Arrow's released early, they haven't really made a net talent gain. Burgess is way better than Arrow. Sure, Latrell's better than a broken/depressed GI. However, They're looking to offload Gagai and Doueihi. Net loss IMO! Also I reckon they've outsmarted themselves by doing the dodge to offload Burgess. He had a good 5 years left in him.
- With a few less injuries and a bit more consistency, Manly could go somewhere. They are largely unchanged. Same with Cronulla... all depends. Also depends on teams below them staying cr@p.
- The other teams lacked enough 2019 form/consistency to go anywhere. Some will lift in 2020 but I haven't been following their recruitment or strategies closely enough as they are not my club.

Prediction:
1. Melbourne (with a massive push from all angles for Smith to go out as a champ... last year they were a 2013 Souths).
2. Souffs. Net loss but it also resulted in us having a net loss.
3. Manly. They'll fix up Brookie + Trbo's and DCE will fire.
4. Raiders. They didn't ban the strip so it'll continue. It'll hurt us more because we're without Latrell's 1% tries and Cronk's constant cool head under pressure of such BS.
5. Roosters. The net loss will hurt us and it'll be a re-building year but we will still do alright I reckon.
