Its becoming very obvious to me that he’s not stable going through so many managers when it was a no brainer to accept the initial K800 and remain with the best roster in the NRL. If so many people can get to him and he goes public criticising Fittler and Easts then I don’t think he’s all there. How many players would give an arm and a leg to play under Trent?

Pretty sure contracts start 01-NOV so it is only 2 months we have paid. Unless we pay one month in advance so this month makes it the 3rd month. For Souths to register him for $400K is back to Gasnier days. Afterall we offered $800K and the Tigers offered $1M+ so what is his market value? But it is Souths and they got all the Inglis and Burgess money back so $400K it will be.

It's always sad to lose one of our players especially to our rivals. Not good!!!

The article suggests it’s the Roosters who are eyeing off Addo-Carr:

“The longer the saga drags on, though, the more money the Roosters have to pay Mitchell, a player who is contracted until November but a player they no longer want.

They are also eyeing off Storm winger Josh Addo-Carr, who will be released from his Storm deal early on compassionate grounds but only on the condition of them getting a player of the same value as Addo-Carr, a NSW and Australian representative.”

I have faith that Uncle Nick and Trent will do what’s best for the team. Reading between the lines of recent media/forum commentary implies Latrell doesn’t fit into the culture and standards of the Roosters establishment. He has been a cancer in the team and it’s in the Roosters’ best interest that it’s removed, even if it means another team is perceived to get a good deal signing him for the rest of this year.

I reckon Latrell is worth $800k under the structure, stability and leadership of the Roosters organisation and at any other team is worth $400k at best.

I wish Latrell all the best for the future, except when playing against the chooks.

Imagine how much it would piss off the rugby league community if we just swapped JAC for latrell, the two strongest teams just swapping players between themselves, not giving the shitter teams a chance.

Franky Pritchard told me the other day that the dogs have pretty much got Ado-Carr over the line.

The Roosters will probably agree to pay his Jan Feb & March contract money $162k & Souths will pay the remaining 400k. Total for the year for Latrell will be $162.50 +$162.50 equaling $350 plus Souths $400 equals $750k.
Apparently roosters have said they wouldn't pay that kind of $$$ for him to run around at souffs. Nick would rather him playing for norths than paying him to be at souffs

That Webster article paints the situation as a complete mess, at least a 4 club player merry go round, where the ride hasn't even started so close to our preseason. Heck it's the EVE of our title defense/WCC.

After going b2b I was so happy, if the Roosters never even played another game of footy again, I was /still am stoked.

So latrell surprising with leaving isn't the worst, rough tho.

Souffs all along? Managers negotiating for payouts while hes getting paid by us to avoid media circuses at training?

Just to join his band of brothers to achieve what? I swear nowadays some of this indigenous peacocking causes more division. Go follow jacinta price on Instagram you'll know what I mean she deals with it all the time.

The only benefit for him I really see is an upgraded contract from them down the line, big money as a fullback.

But throw in that one year deal on a bloke whose game is not the same as the dude at our club who is keeping him out of the no.1

                      Big gamble boys, big gamble.

Roosters full steam ahead, get cracking billy, if it was up to me, I'd make him see out the remaining year, any disharmony or attitude, back to the bears. Shouldn't be a problem, after all we're talking about hundreds of thousands of dollarydoos here and professionalism.

                      Are we?

                      Pffft

                      GO EASTS
                      Nope. He was always going.

But he has treated us like shit on the way.

So I am hoping for an RTS ACL in round one.
