    - SKD was the best centre in the world in 2010 and hopefully will hit the same form this year
    - BJ has huge potential, whether it be at wing/centre/2nd row
    - Perret gives us huge metres off his dummy half runs
    - Minichello is super reliable under the high ball, and although he has lost his speed his experience is priceless
    - Have some great young players coming through - especially Moga

If all these players fire in 2012 our backline wont be as bad as we are all thinking!!! Obviously I agree with most of your comments but I just thought I would put a positive spin on things fingers crossed we have a good fullback coming through in the next few years. Mini has been great for us, but it would be nice having someone attack from the back for a change.
I admire the optimism, but there is a whole lot of "hopefully," "potential" and other such intangible aspirations muddled in there.

Anasta and Mortimer are not above average five eighths. I can easily name eight five eighths better than Anasta in the NRL - Maloney, Foran, Soward, Zillman, Marshall, Gidley, Carney, Widdop (there are more) - and Mortimer couldn't crack first grade last year.

Minichiello's last remaining strength is under the high ball. Everything else is ordinary. He no longer breaks tackles, he no longer cuts through the line on kick returns, and he never has been able to throw cut outs, as is required of a modern day fullback.

    Moga is seventeen years old.

The realistic interpretation of our club at the moment is that we have a promising forward pack and a very average backline.
