    3. Both are dead weight around the necks of this club. Not worthy of the salary cap space they have taken up.

You wanted the Duke back, you got him.

If Brian Smith doesn't play Daniel Mortimer at 5/8th next year then he will solidify the belief that he is not even close to being of a first grade standard coach.

Remember he's coached for over 25 years and has NOTHING to show for it.

And that stuff about him being a "good man manager" is just bullshit. If he's so damned good a "man manager" what happened to Carney this year?
Whoever labelled Smith a good man manager is absolutely taking the piss. In fact they are taking it, drinking it and urinating back into Smiths pocket.

It is so good to see some of the duke, although it took more prodding than I expected.

    MORTIMER MUST WEAR THE 6

Taka and Guerra are only on the field half the time and how often can they really offload?

Anyway, are we really going rely on two utility forwards to get the ball out wide?....Farrk, we're in more trouble than i thought!

      P.S Guurkken.......BBZZZZZ....You were too slow!

Taka strikes me as one of those players that could offload every run if the coach would let him. He always seems to dominate the tackle enough to have a hand free. Against the storm he made something like 8 or 9 runs for 5 or 6 offloads. Two of those offloads lead to tries, one to a line break and one to a Melbourne try. I'm happy with that strike rate. And that was playing centre for most of the game and wing for the rest. I don't see how their market value or utility status impacts on our performance, as long as they create tries I'm happy.

BJ and SkiD would want to bust a lot of tackles and score a lot of tries because they have the defensive capabilites of an Italian soldier in Libya ~1942

Taka needs more game time, would play 80 on his head. world beater in the making! hope hes eligable for NSW in soo in a few years.. Big call, but hope he is good for us..

The squad is definitely lacking strike power in the key position of FB (sorry mini) and whether Braith can step it up to the end of 07 standards (unlikely but i can only hope). I think the starting line-up's are going to have a much better balance then they did when we had three play makers in the squad.

As we all witnessed Braith was ineffective as a 2nd Rower but he was only deployed on one side in attack, i think that hurt his game and made him useless by getting in the way of the centre, i'd like to see him roam, support and take the line on both sides. I hope he works really hard on his combination with Pearce in the off-season in the attacking quarter. Kicking options of going in the air when a short grubber in goal can build more pressure is what needs to be drilled into the halves. Patience and variation is all i ask.

I'm optimistic that if the team starts well and strings some wins together that they can make the 8.

Spot on Henry, people forget how Anasta and Pearce can create trys from kicks, Anasta is great at scoring off bombs in the middle near the in goal. Anasta is also deadly when he takes the line on, at 6 he can roam and pick his target. this showed at 2011 season end, I watched a few live games at this time and at 6, Anasta was able to talk and get his forwards to set up the next backline play!
