JWH has been an absolute peanut this year with the stupid charges he has racked up. He has no one to blame but himself for being ruled out of our prelim.

I think we'll win without him, but its going to make the job of stopping Papali that much more difficult without him on the field

It’s ridiculous. The purpose of suspension should be to deter players deliberately injuring other players as a deterrent. All else should be penalties or/and sin bin. It’s absolute rubbish having to miss a preliminary final on a trip that caused no injuries. A dinner binning would have been adequate.

fans want to see the best against the best finals time. It sets the game back and spoils it as a competition when punishments are all out of proportion. Burgess should have been binned as should JWH and that should have been the end of it.

Agreed. Roberts is running sideways (if not a little bit backwards!!!) JWH wouldn't have known that his leg was gonna trip the fukking joker because you generally assume a player's gonna try to run forwards rather than backwards!! If I tripped over like this in amateur-grade it's be play-on and the couch would give me a spray for being an idiot.

IMO at most this should be a free kick followed by a play-on. What else gives you a week off? A shoulder charge to the head, an elbow/forearm to the head, a grapple tackle, a crusher tackle...etc.

As a spectator it was a non-event. Some media buffoon only picked it up because they got a call from Souffs management and felt obliged to act. How can they even do that when the ref hasn't deemed it necessary to report to them?
