Radley is good as a backup hooker but it will be a challenge to get a top performance out of him week in week out

he was great in his first ever 80 min at hooker against the Bro cos
but came out a little sloppy in the Sharks game. Bad news

Robbo has been very secretive in his approach since the GF when it comes to media asking about injuries surely I’m not the only one that has noticed?

Media announcement today that it's a biceps injury and he could be out for 3-4 months.

Faaaark - I fell for it hook, line and sinker. Damnit!

Very tough on Jake, he is looking as fit and sharp as he was in 2013 and he surely would have played origin this year. The important thing is that he should be right for the big games at the end of the year.

Bet you slept better and enjoyed the win more, as a result of Trent not stating the injury last night.

It's been mentioned ad nauseum but...

The 2019 Premiership battle between the Roosters and their biggest challnlenger Injuries is really heating up.

Injuries have been gnawing away at the Roosters all year, who have managed to fend them off brilliantly; but in a twist Injuries have struck a heavy blow.

We can survive for 3 months without him. We only play 3 decent teams in the next 12 rounds

Jakes effort to return to the field with that injury with the game on the line is a credit to him, his tackle on fumble fingers Dufty was perfection, i and many others have been critical of Friend over playing his hand in the past, happy to be proven wrong as his characters I’ll never be questioned

I wish him the best in his recovery. Shocking timing for his rep career as he was in the reckoning. Hope he makes it back fully fit and refreshed for the end of season.

Terrible news. We really have been copping it with injuries so far this season. Hopefully we can continue to cope as well as we have. I don’t like the idea of Victor being dummy half for that long. Looks like young Verrills willl need to get some more game time on the bench.

Was it the Dufty tackle? It did look like he hyper-extended his arm knocking the ball out of Dufty's arm.

On the positive, giving Radley more passing practice, and one of the fringe forwards more game time, has got to be a good thing for us come finals time.

What's Verills normal position? backrow or hooker? I think he may have to relieve Radley whilst Friend is out, taking up a valuable bench spot.

The opposite, Radley plays a crucial link role at lock. The less time he plays there the less time we have to work on our play around that.

Wouldn't surprise me to see the club go and source a dummy half so Radley can remain at lock.
