    In my opinion Cronk was bought here to guide us to a premiership. That could well happen yet.
    But I honestly think if Pearce was still the No. 7 we would be sitting at the top of the table right now not including injuries to himself.
    Cronk hasn’t done half the job I actually thought he would do yet. Everyone around him seems confused.
    I will get shot for this but the people who are saying Cronk was bought to develop the younger guys. Why the hell are we paying a fortune to Johns to do that job??

      Another thought. I have always really enjoyed watching our team. Especially in recent years 2010, 2013 and 2015. We worked as a complete team. Everyone knew their job.
      This year with Cronk telling them what to do no one seems to know their place. Even Teddy looked like he suited the blues team better.
      It seems like when Teddy has a Roosters jersey on he is stepping on other guys toes.
      I dunnnno it’s just frustrating to watch I guess.

A bigger loss in Maloney brought less division. Go figure!
        Maloney will always be remembered as the better player and the reason the premiership returned to Bondi in 2013, he is also the more likeable on and off the field. Pearce didn’t do much to win the fans of the club.

        i liked his efforts for the club, but not sure he will be mentioned in any “greats” of the club talk, and the main reason for that is, he brought all the off field stuff on himself.

          Gee some of you flogs are stupid, how many premierships has Pearce actually won us? If not for SBW and Maloney he would have diddly squat, he is the great pretender with more off field highlights than on field, but I need a giggle so keep on worshipping him

            The NSW team is different. They are allowed to off-load which suits Tedesco's game our coach is not a fan of offloads.
            Tedesco and Friend both look lost as to what they are supposed to do with Cronk in charge. Keary often doubles around takes the line the fullback would take and Friend thinks he should run but it's almost always at the wrong time.

              At a signing session the prick never bothered to lift his head from his phone. I said, “Excuse me, can you please say hi to my kids who idolise you.”

                We got 3 minor premierships from 2013-2015.. wouldn't have got that without Pearce

                I understand he didnt really own big games but wasnt the reason we didn't make more GF

                In prelims 2014 souths and 2017 Cowboys we were bashed.. 2015 SKD threw a stupid pass and Pearce probably wasnt ready to comeback

                  If I were to describe the difference in the demeanor of Cronk and Pearce using one word each..
                  Cronk = Composed
                  Pearce = Erratic

                  I know which one I’d prefer come finals time.
                  ..it’ll be interesting to see

                    The (crazy) Thracian & I reckon they should of kept the Pearce Carney combo.

                      Well, actually, he won us one didn't he? It IS a team game. You just make yourself look foolish with that, kind of comment. If for one second you think Pearce was a passenger in 2013, you are delusional.

                        If for one minute you think we win that premiership with no SBW or Maloney, it is you that is dilusional, Pearce had little to no influence on any finals game

                          The Australian understands the Roosters are keen to sign O’Sullivan to a new deal, that desire only solidified by the way he handled his first grade debut for the club on Sunday night on the Gold Coast.

                          However, they are facing competition from the Broncos, Wayne Bennett having identified O’Sullivan as a player who could provide competition for Kodi Nikorima in the No 7 jersey. It is understood Canberra also expressed an interest in O’Sullivan but have taken a step back because they believe he likely to join the Broncos.

                          If so, that would be a blow to the Roosters, coach Trent Robinson having earmarked O’Sullivan to eventually replace Cooper Cronk at halfback for the club.

                            Might be a bit of pay back milanja because of the interest we have shown in some of their young pups .

                              Sully is going nowhere, do not be surprised if Cronk pulls up stumps at the end of this season to take up a coaching role at the Chooks, he only wanted 1 year we suggested 2 as we were unsure if Sully and Lam were ready, Sully showed with the right guidance he is ready as will Lam be by seasons end

                                He may have seen the light but so long and thanks for all the fish is where we're all at now. Judge Judy would never have taken as long as Nick and Trent to make the move.

                                One thing that Pearce has achieved almost as much as predecessor Brett Finch. Divide the clubs supporters over the years. So you'd have to think that he did something similar for the team.

                                The Skeez summed it up by writing
                                Cronk = Composed
                                Pearce = Erratic

                                It's why one has a roomful of trophies and awards at all levels.

                                Just hope he adds another one before he retires. Don't we all?
