What next is someone on here going to suggest that Radley coach the side too!?

Like all rumours it should be treated as just that a rumour but he's far more credible than people are making out in this thread.
To be fair I don't follow him closely and wouldn't know him from a bar of soap, so perhaps I've been unfair, but I did note that he said we threw Jackson Hastings to the wolves ...

Fergo and JWH will share it between them. It’s time to start thinking outside the square.

Quoted couple of months ago and again last week.

Cronk will retire at the end of the year and will stay on helping the coaching staff.

i know it is pointless to bring up pearce again but why did we do this again? replace a good young half for an old great half that is well past his best? it never made sense to me... and turned out to be a huge waste of time.. value for money Pearce waas always the better option... also was pearce getting close to that long service discount? or was he already on it?

We'll find out if it was worth it come finals time.

Pearce is a big game dud.

Robbo realised this and felt like we needed change.

Too early to say if it's worked.

If the rumour is not true, then good.

If the rumour is true then Cooper should re-think his position. I don't know what went on behind the scenes, but the fact of the matter is that we lost a premiership-winning half back because he signed with us. I understand he didn't want that to happen - but it did.

There are worse things than earning a million for playing another year of footy and he should get over any mid-season loss of appetite and do what he said he was going to do. If he feels that he will be a different kind of player next year, then so be it. He'll be quick between the ears and can still do a good job.

Correction... our forward pack is a big game dud.. Scape goating Pearce was a knee jerk reaction that put a bandaid over a bigger wound. but keep believing Cronk will produce us a premiership .. if we do win it i can almost garentee it wont be because Cronk... he is a passenger for us and laughing all the way to the bank... while leaving his heart back in Melbourne.

I don’t agree with most of that. If he feels he’s not up to it anymore he should finish up this year and free up the million bucks to spend on other players. No point in flogging a dead horse for another year.

Haven't seen anything from Cronk this year to suggest he is any better than Pearce.

I spoke about this a while ago. He won't play next year 100%.
Run with son of O or Lammy next year.

He hasn't dry-humped a dog after taking a bunch of junior players out to get wasted. That makes him better than our former halfback in my book.
