It might be a case of Lam and O'Sullivan duelling for the position in the trials next season. Of the players off contract, Blake Austin was probably the highest profile player but not sure he would be a good fit with Keary. The other options included the likes of Ryley Jacks, Kane Elgey, Brock Lamb and Matt Frawley. None really inspire confidence.
Elgey looked like a gun a season or two ago. Hasn't been the same player since he got injured.

Cronk's money goes to paying off the Panthers for a year for Cleary. I've always believed Cleary would end up here.

I don’t think Uncle Nick would be very happy if there was any substance to this rumour. We let go of a very good halfback in signing Cronk. I am sure we wouldn’t have even considered signing him and letting Pearce go if the term was only 1 year. That would have been crazy.

          2016 anyone?!?!?

Meh. “Organising” is overrated. We need less organising and more footy in the halves. Anyway Radley seems like a smart cookie, I’m sure between him and Keary they could work it out.

Not so sure. He has looked pretty good at first receiver in recent games. And has played in the halves as a junior I believe. It could be worth a try.

Freddy started out as a centre or backrower but had the skills to adapt to the halves. I don’t see why Radley couldn’t do the same.

Lachlan Lam at #7 and Keary at #6 for 2019. Then make a move for either Cleary or Ash Taylor for season 2020 !

Lam slots to Utility for 2020

Maybe he is thinking about Thurston playing one season too long???

Radley is wasted as an edge forward.

Lock is his best position although he would be good at 5/8 too.

Probably that they've both played a season too long.

No reason why Radley couldn’t be a Freddy style no 6. I don’t know if he has much of a kicking game but I wouldn’t be surprised if he does, he has everything else.
Keary isn't a 7. He's at his most valuable running plays on the edges, not centre field distributing and organising.

7 is just a number. Just because he has 7 on his back doesn’t mean he has to play that role.
