It has nothing to do with Braith and everything to do with respecting your teammates and the club.

Agenda-driven idiots trying to use this to turn the heat on Braith have no idea.

I see. Anyone with an alternate view is an agenda driven idiot.

What do you think of people with close ties to the club who publicly undermine the club with calls for Carney's sacking?

        Totally agree.
Anasta, unlike what the bandwagoners would have you believe, has no agenda and a lot of honour and respect.

          This.

Those blaming Anasta are way out of touch with reality.

Why the fark does the antics,of comic strip Carni have to with Anasta? Was it the agenda of Anasta making Carni drink with Mason & Co in the pre season.Does Anasta deserve the sack ,for wanting the team to get of the drink, to avoid another wooden spoon.Fark Carni,he belongs in a farking trailer park, not in the proudest & longest serving club in the NRL.

Totally agree KB Anasta like all players want to win first, If he was hell bent on playing 6 he could have gone to a number of clubs. If todd was the best choice at 6, Anasta would play in any position to stay in the team..

Not according to Freddy who publicly stated Anasta is a selfish child who refused to shift from 5/8th for the better of the club.

Well Freddy is as punch drunk as Mohammed Ali these days, he is los tin space.

And the bullsh!t about the other three players is peddled by poo poo and Carnies managers to make them look better. This is not about other players this is about idiotic loser serial offenders not being able to pull their heads in and do what they are told for 5 f*&ken minutes rather than have our Great CLub on te front and back of the paper again for all the stupid ar sed dumb wrong reasons

Frikken sick of it. I earn f all and I do what I am told. They earn a fortune so why cant they??

Surely they would have put their hands up after the other three were caught?

According to Anasta's family, not via the media, Fittler is wrong.
I have no doubt that he was not over the moon about moving in the fowards, but there was no hissy fit no refusal.
Fittler was bitter at that time with the Roosters and quite happy to put the boot in.

Let's not overlook the fact that the drinking ban was an agreement between the players. Anasta didn't force every player to promise with a firing squad at the ready. The leadership group conceived it and it was taken to the players. It is natural to assume that every player had the autonomy to contest the suggestion, object to it or refuse to comply.

If they thought it was stupid why didn't they ****ing say so? The fact that Myles, who was a part of the leadership group, was one of the culprits involved is astounding. If you give your word, it is beyond disrespectful to take someone's trust for grated and so flagrantly break that promise.

One more point I would like to make. Why is it people assume that it is so difficult for people to live without alcohol for only 2 WEEKS?!?! Going 'oh, they're young men that what they do' is complete bullshit. Do people in society really lack that much self control that they can't think of what to do with themselves without alcohol for 2 weeks?

This wasn't ever an issue about self-control, or the ban being a ridiculous idea. It's very obviously about respect and trust, which is clearly something Carney, Myles and FPN have to learn.

The issue isn't whether Anasta has an agenda.

The issue is Anasta isn't good enough to play first grade, at 5/8 or in the backrow.

We can consign ourselves to mediocrity in Braith, or go all or nothing with Toddy, hoping for a 2010 repeat, but risking a pub team that gets belted and wins the wood.

                              Take your pick.
