  • More players involved in drinking session

Just reported on the news is the suggestion that many more ROOSTERS players were involved in the drinking session with Carney/Myles/FPN.

As I said last week, the ban was a stupid idea introduced just when they were starting to find some form, and given how badly it failed in the Manly game the only surprise is the rest of the team weren't sharing a drinking with them.

          Dice, stop blaming the ban.

          It isn't about the ban.

It is about trust and respect in a team environment.

It's still nonsense and just asking for trouble.

I agree it is more about not adhereing to the wishes of the whole PLAYING GROUP, shows utter contempt and lack of respect for team mates.

I would not respect a captain who has a pathetic on-field workrate, who was death-riding me so he could get the 5/8th position back, and who "rewarded" improvement with an idiotic drinking ban.

And then let's move onto other senior players. When was the last time Minichiello put his body on the line? What respect is he showing the rest of the team?

If the senior players don't have respect for the team then you can't blame the other players for not respecting the senior players.

It would appear it was not the wishes of the "whole playing group", rather something that was forced on everyone by a few...

He has let a lot of people down. Can they forgive him? I would hope so. Can they trust him? I am not so sure...

Three other Roosters players were also out drinking that night, but left earlier, while FPN, Carney and Myles carried on. Atleast, that's what is being reported.

The ban was a retarted thing to do.

the night after the ban, 2 players had a couple of wines with their dinner with their partners, obviously this did not count.2 players who should have known better.
But why shouldn't they be allowed this luxury?????

It would not be very hard to guess the other players involved, their off field antics speak for themselves.

Possibly the new motivation for us to win this week against the sharks?
