I at least said all along that Cronk (and Robbo) must not be judged until the season is over because he was brought here for the finals.

Judging him based on a rnd 5 or rnd 9 game was obscene because the regular season was never our issue with Pearce.

Still, this forum is about giving our opinions and we've all been wrong at some point so I'm still not a fan of rehashing these threads even if they are funny (and I'll get my turn as the whipping boy at some point I'm sure).

Though I guess they are ateast worth a second look purely for Salvos pearls of wisdom. Gordon over Teddy... that was the best of the year!

Nah fair enough I’m prepared to cop that. Cronk worked out in the end obviously but at times earlier in the season it wasn’t looking so good and I said so. Guess I was wrong in the end.

What is ridiculous beyond belief though is people like John Tobin and Tommy Smith popping up on these revived threads after all their hysterical hyper criticism of the likes of Friend and plenty of other players over the years. You guys are kidding!

Any whatever I’ve got no problem with stuff being revived, that’s the risk you take if you go posting angry stuff in the heat of the moment like I did. I must’ve lost money on that game lol.

The thing is, what about the many years we don’t win the comp? Does that mean the people criticising are right?

Everyone can have an opinion. After losses they run hot. It’s about passion as much as anything and that’s fine.

The disclaimer was for Salvo who must surely be a troll. A Roosters fan; but a troll account I assume.

But upon reflection I did over indulge and for that I apologise.

Most of my cringeworthy material was reserved for the gameday threads. I intend to avoid them next year because I can't help myself sometimes and I always make a goose of myself.
