Well it’s your choice and anyone else that can’t let go...giddy up! Pearce don’t live here, anymore...
Of course it’s individuals choice. Just like it was the Roosters choice to sacrifice a heart and soul one club player and origin incumbent for an overpriced player looking for a retirement village.
Pearce may not live here anymore, that’s true but so far, Cronk hasn’t exactly moved in either.
Cronk is a wonderful player and a great influence.
But the fkr is human, just like Pearce was. So perhaps give him a break.
problem is, the fkr is expensive.
For what it's worth, - i said at the time of the Cronk signing - i would have preferred to keep the Pearce-Keary combination a bit longer as IMO they were bloody good together.
What we needed in the wake of the Cowboys disaster was one more, preferrably two more dominant forwards in the engine room.
Not a $1million per annum on a halfback who is a bit better than our old one.

How much of a break? Great halfback in his day, but lets get real he's got 16 months to run on his contract.
