But the fkr is human, just like Pearce was. So perhaps give him a break.

problem is, the fkr is expensive.

For what it's worth, - i said at the time of the Cronk signing - i would have preferred to keep the Pearce-Keary combination a bit longer as IMO they were bloody good together.

What we needed in the wake of the Cowboys disaster was one more, preferrably two more dominant forwards in the engine room.

Not a $1million per annum on a halfback who is a bit better than our old one.

I said the same thing Steak. Cronk is a better game manager than Pearce but he wasn’t going to fix our fundamental issues.

Cronk had Melbourne’s discipline now he’s got our rabble. All our dropped balls and dumb penalties would frustrate him.
The sooner the team realise, the better
        ..it’ll be interesting to see

Pearce may not live here anymore, that’s true but so far, Cronk hasn’t exactly moved in either.
Pearce’s actions while with the club, and his decision to leave the team for more money in Newcastle show how loyal he really was. Cronk may not turn out how nick expected, but at least we only have him for two seasons, we may have been stuck with Pearce for another 6 yrs had he not chosen to sulk and run away from home.

Whilst Cronk has been making uncharacteristic errors, he had good company in fargin flake fergo who was all smiles after the match.

Why isn't he managing the games better then?

If Pearce was half we win tonight and Gordo at FB too - Cronk should have retired and Tedesco - he is just a runner with no ball skills in his game at all and needs to be like another 5/8 - full marks for Gussy pointing out what I have said previously about Tedesco - when I played fullback I needed to be both a runner and ball player as this is what you needed to be chiming into the backline to promote the attack as a runner or utilising your passing game - Tedesco is purely a ball runner and nothing more with no passing and ball skills in him at All to set up others- not good enough in the modern game as they say.

One may say now that T Turbo will be NSW SOO FB as he has these skills.

I can look past the errors.

Latrell makes errors, Keary makes, Teddy makes errors.

But they're all contributing to our attack & busting a gut to create something.

Cronk's just not giving us what we need, we look disorganised in attack.

Absolutely 100% correct. At the Storm Cronk didn’t need to contend with....
                      1. A high rate of incomplete sets
                      2. Slow service from dummy half
                      3. Referees who love to screw you over! It was easier for him when Cameron Smith was the ref.

Let’s face the facts. We have given away a quality half who was just coming into the prime of his career for ....Cronk. Shithouse.

                        Just shithouse all round.

Because he has to deal with the exact same issues Pearce had to. Those who claim Pearce was the sole source of our problems should see them fixed now we have Cronk. But maybe the reason things aren’t any better is because Pearce wasn’t in fact the sole source of our problems.

I would take another 6 years better results than what we have been shown far this year. It needs to be understood that individually, Cronk looks/looked a better player but in our side, the Pearce/Keary combo was by far better than the current Cronk/Keary one.

Rubbish as Pearce wanted to stay but Uncle Nick gave him no option - he stays he plays alt hooker with Friend and somehow then is mentored by Cronk in halfback - when Cronk leaves Pearce then returns to halfback - what a crock idea that was - oh you say Cronk stays for 2 years which could really stuff the club as he is playing on borrowed time and Pearce then could take over again after that - Pearce rightfully rejected this stupid idea and the Chooks are paying the price for it - MMM Robbo didn't agree with this idea but who pays his wage - Uncle Nick- Might be time Uncle Nick steps aside one has to say - No club is bigger than one person -Uncle Nicks idea to sign Cronk and Tedeso

Did I just read that? I thought Tedesco was one of our best King Gussy.
