Bulldogs are a different team, we'll have our work cut out, as are most others. Look at us serving up the same dumbest team in the comp self imploding errors. They've learnt nothing.

Hard to take that mantle from the Raiders.

What got my ire up was the fact that this year we have new players and still it’s the bumbling fumbling undisciplined roosters. It seems that no matter which roster we have it’s the same error ridden, penalty ridden, low completion rate syndrome with this coach. I expected first game not to be the same bumbling fumbling roosters especially with Cronk and Tedesco. I have never seen such a flat rooster side in attack for years. We aren’t even going to make the 8 if we play like this. Where was our strike power?

I think that's part of Robbo's game plan phase 2 - forwards and backs swap positions

The wins will come . Game 1 with a new general and new playing style was always going to take a little time

The real worrying sign was scoring no points when the Tigers were down to 12 men.
The best half back (general) in the game on board who could not muster up a single point.
Pearce would have copped a baking for that.

I reckon you might be right.

The real worrying sign as Robbo said in his post match conference is that we didn't play much football but we still made a bucket ton of errors.

Probably lack of cohesion from lack of game time.. That will come. I can't death ride the team on yesterdays performance. Take ut on the chin.
Seems it may be a few weejs to we hit some k8bd of form

Not sure it's so much a lack of game time & cohesion. I think it is a big change in philosophy about the way we will approach games this year.

The two sides who have arguably gone through the biggest change (Newcastle & Wests) only made 12 errors COMBINED! That's still 1 error less than us, so you can't just put it down to lack of cohesion/game time.

                        Keary will save the day!

Question? Who broke his jaw in training? Napper?

I think it was a collision with Sitili Tuoponioa..

It was the decision to kick for goal. The Tiges are slowing the play the ball to save a try. We have them on the back foot. We are in the 20 and their half gets binned. If we take the set of six, we have the best chance to score, at the worst get a repeat set (this situation is what we bought Cronk for) or get another penalty. But no we take the two and then have to run it back up-field and of course we go straight up the middle. That's why we didn't add points. It's called BRAINLESS.

My heart sank when we failed to take advantage of Fergo's break. Tigers would have loved it.

                              I'd put him on notice.
Give him a couple of games to get his groove back or send him to Wyong.
If he ain't starting prop he needs to provide a lift when he comes off the bench, and as you said he appears a bit lethargic.
We got a couple of young props who would be keen to impress.

I just listened to the presser.
He said they defended well. Seeing as we only allowed them one try right at the death it's hard to argue with that.
No "Haslerisms" in anything he said.
Don't think he was happy with the attack at all. He said there was an unacceptable amount of errors considering we didn't play much footy.
