Only two new players in the team and the others have been here for years- a team chock full of rep players were out enthused by a team many on here expected the Roosters to lap- why and how could this happen is the question?? - one has to say the Hasler type game plan that Robbo implemented has to be seriously questioned - Limited errors and 5 hit ups and a kick on the 5th/ hope and kick on the 5th on the last in the attacking zone and limited expansion in attack is not going to win many games.

If this is the Robbo game plan going forward then it's a game plan based on a Hasler type survival mindset- Surely the pressure is mounting on him- today was unacceptable although Robbo said they played well except for the errors - a Haslerism if I have ever heard one.

As crappy as we were dont think badger was doing us any favours.
Drop Napa now he is atrocious. Plays like he dont give a shit
I agree that Badger did us no favors. He was not the reason we lost but he defo didn’t help us. Cronk got tackled a couple of times only to get up looking bewildered that the usual penalty he would have got in the Storm colours didn’t come.

A one eyed view I know but it is interresting none the less.

Keary was sorely missed, he would have been the only player in the team putting uncertainty into the minds of the Tigers. We were one dimensional and uninspiring in attack. Not a fan of Marshall, but whenever he had the ball in his hands he was creating uncertainty in our players. We lacked a creative player for sure.

One GF win and 2 GF appearances in 10 years with Pearce and you want to compare Pearce with one game Cronk?

Wait, did I read that right? Did you just infer Cronk wasn't creative?

Yes, Cronk doesn't play the chance your arm style that Marshall plays. Cronk is clinical and precise, more routine textbook perfection than creativity.

We missed Keary badly .Felt sorry for Cornish was always pushed really wide by jake no room to do shiit
That's exactly how I saw it, too. No ball for Latrell or Tupou (both of whom seemed to drop their heads, particularly in the 2nd half).

Surely experienced players can change the game plan when they can see it's not working as today's wasn't - Played like Robbo's Robots today which was easy pickings for the Tigers defence.

Yeah, I think we are agreeing? They were predictable and slow and very flat in attack.

1 game vs 10 years? Ridiculous!!!

F@ck this is a quality post! 100% on the head. One step further, pretty much every nrl club in some form of another has spoke about mixing it up this year, being more expensive, possibility of halves playing 9 etc. and then Trent puts that together and justifys it in a bemusing press conference.

Said it before will say again, clubs out shitted us last year and we came 2nd. All last year did w masked a massive void at the Roosters.

What, you mean like today...penalty after penalty to Wests.
                              Badger...baaah!

That’s an interesting point as I’ve seen Cam Smiff throw about 4 in the first half already yet nothing will be mentioned of it im sure.
