I have a lot of respect for Trent - all creative / innovative thinkers have to have a blend of self assurance and self doubt. I dont know now that Trent visits the second half of the equation enough. i hope he has honestly reviewed the successes and failures over recent years before lauching into this season.

Melbourne were the most penalised side after only Cronulla this year.
We were the 9th most penalised side.

Based on that logic imagine how far ahead of the field Latrell could be, in turn how far ahead of the field the Roosters could have been.
Use stays all you like, if you are happy with the involvement and ‘coached invovlement’ of a Latrell then so be it. I am not.
It's about getting the ball in his hands in the right positions and at the right times.
I used the statistics to back up that argument, given he had the most effective output in terms of try involvements of any centre in 2017 I'd say we did a pretty good job of that.
Simply giving a player more ball is akin to saying just print more money to fix a country's economy.

So take Cordner out we now have the 12th and 18th anked middle in the game, and then my concern, daylight thereafter for our side. Have you got other important (offloads, post contact metres, penalties, errors) middle 3rd stats to go with these, especially the one so mentioned in tandem with my post?
Ahh yes the storm who spent all their time scoring try’s and kicking goals and most importantly rotating their interchange properly equating to an better SMARTER spread of minutes of Brom, Glasby, McLean, Finucane, Asofa etc. whilst our middle resorted to errors, penalties and watching our wingers create their own fatigue doing all the carries.
The outstanding comment you make is tour inference that theres no res no link to the coaching here.
I agree though whether the metres come from a few players or a group it doesn't really matter.. it was your argument to begin with though so by all means to continue to disagree with yourself.
The dishonesty and lack of consistency is amusing.

Love Gordon and appreciate everything he did but Tedesco is a few classes above, he's the missing piece to our attack.
