    history would say...no.

he seems popular and articulate.....but can he be polarising and silent?
He is probably much smarter at footy than you man.

I do, does the 40-0 gf won by Manly ring a bell dude?

Spot on ism22 one of my favourite non Easts player - always felt the Storm were cheating again with their "assistant coach" on the field in Cronk. Cronk was everything Toovey for Manly wanted to be as a trainer - chuck the water bottle away " give that feckin ball and i show you how it is done". it was a bit of a formula with Smith and Slater at Melbourne looking forward to the variant of Tedesco/ Keary and throw a wildcard Latrel Mitchell /Topou combo or Ferguson/ Manu. Looking forward to the answer of that equation.

I have a lot of respect for Trent - all creative / innovative thinkers have to have a blend of self assurance and self doubt. I dont know now that Trent visits the second half of the equation enough. i hope he has honestly reviewed the successes and failures over recent years before lauching into this season.

            For what it's worth..

Melbourne were the most penalised side after only Cronulla this year.

We were the 9th most penalised side.

Based on that logic imagine how far ahead of the field Latrell could be, in turn how far ahead of the field the Roosters could have been.

Use stays all you like, if you are happy with the involvement and ‘coached invovlement’ of a Latrell then so be it. I am not.
I never said give him less ball. In fact as he develops throughout his career I think he needs to coming looking for the ball more and be given a license to float.

It's about getting the ball in his hands in the right positions and at the right times.

I used the statistics to back up that argument, given he had the most effective output in terms of try involvements of any centre in 2017 I'd say we did a pretty good job of that.

Simply giving a player more ball is akin to saying just print more money to fix a country's economy.

So take Cordner out we now have the 12th and 18th anked middle in the game, and then my concern, daylight thereafter for our side. Have you got other important (offloads, post contact metres, penalties, errors) middle 3rd stats to go with these, especially the one so mentioned in tandem with my post?

Ahh yes the storm who spent all their time scoring try’s and kicking goals and most importantly rotating their interchange properly equating to an better SMARTER spread of minutes of Brom, Glasby, McLean, Finucane, Asofa etc. whilst our middle resorted to errors, penalties and watching our wingers create their own fatigue doing all the carries.

The outstanding comment you make is tour inference that theres no res no link to the coaching here.
Wait so Bellamy is smart for spreading his minutes between a strong rotation of middles but Trent Robinson is dumb because according to you only have two representatives int he top 20% of middle thirds isn't enough??

I agree though whether the metres come from a few players or a group it doesn't really matter.. it was your argument to begin with though so by all means to continue to disagree with yourself.

The dishonesty and lack of consistency is amusing.

                    That's a slight understatement.

Love Gordon and appreciate everything he did but Tedesco is a few classes above, he's the missing piece to our attack.

Be under pressure for sure as Uncle Nick will want a premiership or two during these next two years. If not Robbo is history for sure

Gordon is a more valuable player due to his goal kicking for sure and certain - By the sounds of it Average Teddy will be lucky to be SOO fullback. Don't forget he played for a team that never played finals football when he played for them - Too many have high hopes in picking him as the missing link one has to say

Hold on! I thought he was gone if he doesn’t get one this year?

                                Now it’s two years.
