Nice deal with the Newcastle, out of the 3 teams chasing this is the team i wanted him to go to. Watson and Pearce in the halves, Levi in hooker, ponga in fullback. could form quite nicely.

Manu's defensive weaknesses could lead to his strengths as it did with Jennings. His attacking play comes natural and if he had the same attacking attitude in defense he wouldn't have a worry. He's working on it, as he knows it's the only thing between his current position and a first grade starting spot. Manu is much too gifted to waste that opportunity. Like Mitchell adapting to the pace and consistency of first grade defensively takes time. It where the inexperience gets exposed. Other than that he has a complete game with excellent anticipation, a super step at pace and a handy short kicking game. He may lock down a wing spot for 2018 but just as happy to see him at centre, or at least swapping around.

Yep,spot on. he improved his defense last year,coaches put a lot of work into him and it showed.Gifted player looking to having a big season
