  • When teams get a roll on against us up the middle with the offloads we leak more than a prostitute after a gang bang.

    • This was a similar performance to the Sharks game - from close to half time and second half they put on 30 points to Nil on us- put the queue in the rack early too-could have put 60 on us- Manly put on 32 to nil on us in the same period of the game - In second place in both these games prior to kick off - lucky to be still second in losing to Manly- but for how much longer ??.

4 games to go and must win at least 3 - all hard games - Storm/Tigers/Sharks/Titans - Storm and Sharks -will need to beat one of these teams at least for sure - Tigers wont be easy at all as they are playing to avoid the spoon and neither will the Titans (who we have a poor record against at Allianz) despite their big loss to the Bronco's- they have beaten both the Storm and the Sharks and injuries have cruelled their season. - it will be their(Titans) final season game as well.

      • Our for and against is screwed, the best we can hope for is two more wins and probably 5th. So a big FU to Pearce for screwing up things so badly, seriously it's time for a new halfback. I've never really liked Pearce since day 1, an odd good game doesn't suffice at this level, probably the most overrated Rooster of all time.

        • I hate nothing more then getting beaten by Manly, but it does seem like they have a mental advantage when they play us , that performance by us was totally unacceptable, with many of the players not putting in at all. Our main problems as I seen it are as follows
          1. With 3 or 4 tacklers on a Manly player, he still managed to get the ball away, time after time.
          2. Pearce's kicking game was non existant, very poor options.
          3. Manu and Ferguson's defence was turnstile like, very weak indeed. Manu especially nowhere near being ready for firstgrade, with his lack of defensive skill.
          4. JWH gave away a rubbish penalty early in the game, that lead to Manly having the ball for the next ten minutes, which eventually lead to the first Manly try.
          5. A Radley forward pass, again gave up another try, but overall the youngster tried hard.
          6. A no name manly pack totally owned our blokes, it was a very weak performance.

Just on another matter, I am disappointed Cordner decided he was fit enough to play the 3rd SOO game, where he had a shocker, and was nowhere near being fit, thereby adding many extra weeks to his recovery time, and may not even be back next week, as our captain, he needs to make better decisions.

Overall a very disappointing game from the team, but hopefully we'll have a big week at training this week, and get their minds back on track. We don't mind them getting beaten if they have all done their best, but yesterday that wasn't the case.

Thanks Dr Salvo. Can you share your prognosis on Toops groin injury? How long is he likely to be out for because I see him as a huge loss also.

Pearce looked flat last week. This week speaks for itself.

                    LOL. It's a dislocation. You're a genius.

It was reported as a compound fracture which had been stated in the Press/On Fox and on here by posters- just passing on a medical opinion from Queen Salvo who is a GP- so have a go at them instead - one could tell that Ian Henderson had suffered a compound leg fracture just by looking at it live on the TV. No leg should look like that - Hope he recovered

Up to 6 weeks - partial tears of the adducter muscle recovery time is between 4 to 8 weeks - Strains are usually 1 to 2 weeks - complete ruptures up to 3 months as per Queen Salvo's opinion - exclaimer Queen Salvo has not seen all the scans etc to make an accurate prognosis of the injury and possible return date to satisfy the sites would be genius in their own mind and lunchtime - Professor Wally Waylander

Thanks PeeGee. I think the problem with many fans is they set their expectations too high to begin with. I'm really happy with how the team has gone this year because they have already exceeded my expectations. I will expect more from them next year with the rookies having another year of experience under their belts and Teddy joining.
