  • Roosters v Manly Matchday Thread

    Huge clash this one.

If we head to Melbourne with a loss here then we could find ourselves on the edge of the top 4 in two weeks time.

The goal has to be top 3 so as to avoid the Storm. Preferably top 2 to maybe avoid a first semi up at Suncorp.

Tanginoa has club hopped for a few years - Parra to Cows and now Manly. Still pretty young. Can put a good hit on but he's probably club hopped for a reason. This generation's Kylie Leuluai.

And Brad Parker seems like a Brendan Elliot type when I've seen him. Just a solid 1st grader at best. Shows how bad Kelly has been going that he's been dropped.

Manly @ Brookvale will be our biggest test since we lost Cordner, Friend & Gordon.

Get the feeling it will be a bit of a back & forth game with a very close scoreline with 10mins to go.

Really worried Watson & Manu are going to get exposed defensively this arvo

Parker is a tall ginger, only played a few games over couple of years. Tanginoa is very bulky second rower, bit of a power runner. thats all i know

pretty windy day, can see Manly bombing Watson repeatedly today, doesn't look comfortable under the high ball.

Kelly's defence in the centres is Fergo-like.

If the Bondi Wall, which made a cameo last week turns up, we win by plenty. ...but Brookie is our graveyard
