Massoud is reporting that it might be a torn calf muscle not strain for Cords, if confirmed he might be out of Origin 3 depending on severity, would certainly explain why Cords was so devastated last night.

It's on the Storms own website.

The big 3 plus Chambers are out.

            We should win now.

Let's hope our players don't have the same attitude.

That's the only way we will lose.

I hope Robbo nipped any collective sighs in the bud once everyone heard the news.

They still have a very strong forward pack and strong fast back 3. The Hulk on their bench will be tough to handle.

Nothing will be easy on Saturday.

hope Mitch Pearce has a blinder without Napa smashing him off the ball.

Depends on the grade of the torn calf - Grade 1 - 2 to 4 weeks - Grade 2 - 4 to 8 weeks - Grade 3 - 3 to 4 months or longer if surgery required. I Suggest very unlikely for SOO 3 in that case.

                      Grade 1:

The muscle is stretched causing some small micro tears in the muscle fibres. Recovery takes approximately 2 to 4 weeks if you do all the right things.

                      Grade 2:

There is partial tearing of muscle fibres. Full recovery takes approximately 4 to 8 weeks with good rehabilitation.

                      Grade 3:

This is the most severe calf strain with a complete tearing or rupture of muscle fibres in the lower leg. Full recovery can take 3-4 months and, in some instances, surgery may be needed.

So unnecessary. Apologies for not having thanked you too. I had to go back to read your post to understand your abuse of me. I didn't see you had responded. Anyway, thanks again and build a bridge and get over it!

I don't know about the "conspiracy theorists" that you seem to be obsessed about, but I can speak for the statisticians. Melbourne concede more penalties than any other team in the competition - average 7.79. With their stars out, one would expect them to push the limits of the rules even more (especially through their notorious ruck-slowing tactics) and this seemed evident on Saturday night.

In their last two games, Melbourne conceded 11 and 9 penalties. So the conclusion to be drawn is that the trend for the Roosters' opponents to miraculously improve their discipline continued on Saturday night.

One in every six makes it slightly less obvious.

I thought Manu went well. I thought Latrell was not so great overall.
