On the topic at hand, I think Gordon can only play one position. So he will be handy at Origin time. Having him around the place is great though.

JT- It was stated in a few papers that Toops had re-signed for 4 years- more than a few weeks ago and it's well passed the so called cooling off period - nothing has been confirmed though and I am sure if this was correct it would have been announced by now - Parra have upped their offer since they are losing the bearded one(SR) and not holding out any hope for his return as the Euro he could earn means no NRL could afford him if it came down to money an well he could play for Fiji in RU too at International level/Olympics.

Fergo has a bigger offer from the Dragons to play centre and despite meeting NP there has been no resolution to his future as he is being offered wingers money as they say and the Roosters aren't budging.

Watson has strong interest from the Knights/Tigers/Storm - may stick around in 2018 but no chance beyond that I suggest

Gordon can play FB/Wing and Centre if need be at a pinch

Not sure if this has already been reported on here but Connor Watson has been given a tour of the Newcastle facilities and Barry Toohey has confirmed he has been given permission by the Roosters to do so. For 2018 season.

Yep already mentioned his possible/ likely move - Tigers(favoured)/Storm also in the running so not only down to the Knights - and as I said more than likely won't be here after 2018 - maybe even this year as clubs ramp up their offers- Not on big cash but they need to re-jig the Roster since the cap is lower than expected - 9.5 instead of 10 and 400k of this includes payment to the Players union for some reason(supposedly over the cap for 2018 as a result)- Either of these clubs could sign him for 2018(if released) or for 2019 onwards like Pongia from the Cows was signed by the Knights in advance in 2016 for the 2018 season.

Knights also after Moga (Brisbane) - one year to go on his contract but with Bird's signing he could be the odd man out- since Bennett has shown a preference for Nikorima at Half and Milford at 5/8

it was quoted in papers he was close to signing a 4 year deal and or had signed a new deal - as I said Parramatta have upped their offer since SR is leaving for French Rugby and are closer than us in signing him-

Flash will be playing NRL in 2018 on the Wing for sure - No one has the prowess in goal kicking in the club as he does - why would they sign him to play reggies - quite daft to think he would only be a replacement for injuries I suggest.
