I wouldn't be happy losing butcher, latrell or manu. The rest I'd consider losing to chase a genuine star of the present in the forwards.

I would add Victor Radley to that list of players I would'nt want to loose.

No doubt I don't want to lose him. But the reality is he's about 3 years off being a genuine, week in week out first grader. You need guys like that coming through. But if the opportunity comes to take a rep forward right now for a year or two then I would take them. Plenty of kids with potential don't go on with it for whatever reason. If someone said you can have Luke Lewis for two years and lose radley I'd probably take that deal knowing that with him in our forward pack next year we would be very hard to beat.

I hope we keep Radley. As good as Butcher is I prefer the understated and multi talented Radley. He may get a run over the next 6 weeks, Our coach appears to want him feel part of the top squad due to him being in the warm up yesterday.

Chambers is not coming, I have no doubt about that at all. It could be as you say though, a smokey. The reality is our club likes to conduct negotiations with players quietly and could have thrown others off the scent of who we are really chasing. I hope it is NAS, likely someone from left field though.
