I want forwards, either this year or next. Asofa-Solomona is off contract. Sign him.

Blokes like Collins, Knight & Faamausili could really come into their own next year.
Its only a rumour but I heard the Chooks are looking at Jesse Bromwich, Russell Packer, Shannon Boyd, Andrew Fafita, David Klemmer, Josh Papalli & Nick Kouparitsis.

Spanner, I had heard that Asofa-Solomona re-signed for another 2 years with the Storm. Recent media reports say otherwise however.

There's been a bit of talk about him going back to Union too.

Who are you getting rid off? We have a forward pack that runs very deep.

Not fussed about potentialy losing Butcher and Radley too by pushing them further down the pecking order?

          Our pack next year looks like;

          8. JWH
          10.NAPA
          11. CORDNER
          12. AUBUSSON
          13. SST

          14. MATTERSON
          15. LIU
          16. TETEVANO

          18. BUTCHER
          19. KNIGHT
          20. COLLINS
          21. RADLEY
          22. FAAMAUSILI
          23. SMITH

Tetevano is ok but seriously is a depth player and no more. He is too small to be a front rower, so if paired with Liu, we would be cannon fodder for 30-40 minutes a game. That bench is terrible sorry. I would be mortified if we lost Butcher but kept Liu or Tetevano to play any minutes at Lock also.
                ...

Agree. And tbh aubusson isn't getting any younger. He's a great player and done a fantastic job for us, but we should he forward planning for his exit. Butcher has the most promise from our rookies. If we are looking for an established star rather than future potential I'd rather a big prop or an offloading back rower than a centre.

Disagree on Tetevano, his a very good prospect for us going forward, extremely well rounded. He's much better suited to playing longer minutes than he is playing as an impact player but he will no doubt get that opportunity through suspension, injury & rep duties. Very important that we have a prop who can start and play long minutes when needed, Sam Moa used to do it for us but obviously isn't with us anymore and we've struggled to fill that void with Liu when Napa was out this year.

Liu is the perfect bench prop, been out of form to start the sesaon but been brilliant for us over the past 3 years.

As for being too small, Tetevano is 187cm and 107kgs... since when is that too small? They're almost identical stats to Matt Scott and it didn't really affect his career.

I just hope we have some money left for an aggressive powerful forward and a toiler no frills prop.

We have a toiler, no frills prop, Liu, he is as no frills as they come mate
                      Very low error rate
                      Low miss tackle count

                      He is our Aiden Tolman

We have two very good young backrowers coming through in Butcher and Radley. Both will be regular first graders within two years either with us or elsewhere. As for the front row, we look very skinny. No great first grade prospects. We need to look to market.

Would that mean both skd and fergo are going, or that we keep one and probably lose one of either Manu and Latrell?

Why would we sign a 29 year old centre??

Experienced and a current origin and kangaroo player.
