As it turns out Maloney may have inadvertently shot himself in the foot by bagging a 3 yr deal with the Gummies instead of the 2 yr deal we offered him.

If Moses is commanding about 700-800K for next year and beyond then game winner/premiership winning Maloney is being short changed on 600K for 2018.

Just like with the AFL this year there will be no cap in the NRL next year.
Because the NRL have not given the clubs a cap amount all the clubs will spend what they think the cap will be & if the NRL then says it 8.3 mill but the clubs have budgeted on 9 to 10 mil that would mean clubs would have to release players but no other club could buy them because all clubs are over the cap so the NRL would have no choice but to drop the cap for 2018.
Its quite possible that will happen.

The media and agents etc are spreading a lot of misinformation to get the click bait and drive the players auction.
I have read all these stories too, it doesn't mean all the speculation will be 100 percent true.

mr snitzel. I was at the game when Fergo didnt want to take the ball up against the Storm and passed it to Mitchell. It wan unforgetable and unforgiveable for a player of his experience.

It was towards the end of the game and it occurred after Latrell was obviously injured.
Storm kicked to the south eastern corner of the field and someone I dont remember hit it up. This is on our left side and fergo was playing in the centres on the right side so I dont know how he got back to the left edge.
Toops went into Dummy half and passed the ball to a visibly distressed Latrell, and the majority of bay 13 were screaming and yelling not so pleasant things towards Toops.
