    Now that there seems to be an intermediary involved and we don't have to deal with his manager this looks like a real possibility. Reading between the lines it seems quite advanced. With Cronk almost certainly going to Dogs (and Teddy mentioning us and them) I don't think they are in the position to do it.

    And we sure do need him.

    It's pretty exciting. A massive signing if it comes off. He could be the best in the game in the next few years. In fact, I can't think of a player I would prefer to sign.

    That intermediary is probably The Count!

      I'd be stoked, I did read on a forum the other day that he doesn't quite train with the tigers full on yet swims for cardio cause of his knees. So this might have only been temporary.

      Look at fergo tho, his injuries seem to have crippled him somewhat, a fit teddy would be unbelievable as he would join a team where he doesn't have to do everything like a the tigers

        Not sure about Tedesco. Great player and all, but 1) I'd like him to stay at the Tigers since he's a junior, 2) he's a bit injury prone and 3) we'll end up in a bidding war for him.

        Wouldn't say no, but my preference (in order) would be:

        1. Rat **** rugby by pinching Beauden Barrett after the next World Cup;
        2. As above, but Folau;
        3. Take back RTS when he is off contract;
        4. Sign Jack Bird;
        5. Sign Tedesco.

        Obviously we'd need to see how the season progresses.

        This season I'd like us to clear the decks a bit (SKD, Guerra, Aubusson), maybe sign Matulino, and look at what we can sign from the 20s (if anything). That will give players like Manu and Butcher the opportunity in first grade.

          Tedesco is very close to signing with the Dogs along with Woods - Kane Evans has signed with Parra and maybe released this year as well - how have Collins and Knight been going in the reggies?? - Nappa out 4 to 6 weeks we don't have much depth in the front row.

            If the Chooks dont sign Tedesco & Gordon go's to ESL would Latrell go back to FB?
            And if so that would probably mean Manu would go to centre & that SST could not miss a game because he is the only goal kicker.
            With Manu in the centres the Roosters would then have 4 guys (Manu, SKD, Fergo & Keary)in the back line that are suss in defence.

              Watson is in line to play Fullback next season and maybe some games this season as well since Gordon has a groin/upper leg injury he's playing on with and may need to be rested- Don't know who will be the Goal Kicker though in 2018?

                Bird's been offered more than a mill a season by the Knights - Bronco's have also joined the race for his signature - wants to play fullback - wont do that at the Bronco's

                  So the Dogs are going to sign Teddy, Cronk, Foran and Woods?

                  Seems legit.

                  Ftr Teddy is amazing. The most potent attacking fullback I've ever seen. He'd be absolutely unstoppable in our backline.

                      cleaning out the kennel to make room for at least 3 of these players (Teddy/Foran/Woods) - Cronk will most likely retire or be a change of mind and play one last season for the storm - Wests Tigers reportedly have offered him 3.4 mill for 2 seasons- Dogs wont sign all 4- more likely will only sign 2 - Teddy/Woods and if a third it will be Foran and not Cronk

                        I'd be looking for a goal kicker for next year as a priority. Preferably a strong goal kicking winger or centre.

                            Strange how last year we wouldn't pay $800k for a terrific fullback and now we are supposedly in the running to pay $1.2m a year for Teddy. Yes I realise the cap has increased accross the board. Personally I'd have preferred to have kept RTS. I stand by in saying he is better than Teddy.

                              He will probably sign with them for 300k a season.
